I’d call that a vote, wouldn’t you?

David Shuster’s wayward political sense is a punchline for those of us that have actually noted what he predicts, and then what actually happens.

I’m still waiting for Rove to be indicted....(chuckle)

We Southern Baptists are right on this issue, but it takes reading a paragraph or two to understand what is taught.

You miss the point. Should the person that says, “I wish George Allen were running, but since he’s not, I’m going with Obama.” be criticized for not voting. I don’t think so. A person can do more good for the country by not voting, if their vote would be an uneducated vote, based on a candidates, hair style, accent, race, etc.

Trying to convince the masses, no matter how ignorant, that the most important thing is just to get to that voting booth, does a disservice to the process. I’m no fan of the AARP, but their “Don’t vote” campaign hit the nail on the head.

I grew up attending Southern Baptists Churches, I’m well aware of the Church position, and I’m sure you believe you are correct, just as those that previously used the Bible to justify slavery thought they were correct. However, at the end of the day, if nominated, Huckabee will find himself responding to questions about his opinion on “The proper place for a woman in a marriage and in a church.” The questions will likely come from Dem friendly debate moderators. I can’t imagine any answer the Huckster could come up with that would not offend the majority of Americans.

The MSM exultation of St.Huckabee continues in all its nauseating glory. Are Iowans really stupid enough to fall for it?

Shuster the Self-Hating Jew despises conservatives. He’s talking up Huckabee because he thinks the Gov. is the most easily beaten by Her Royal Heinous in the general election.

I do not understand your comment. Huckabee is the real deal, and he would be what the Clintons could never be. Huckabee can preach compassion (taxes) like no other candidate in either party because Huckabee knows the answer to WWJD like no other candidate. (partial sarcasm)

It is a two-way deal. IF the husband loves his wife such that he would give his life for her without hesitation, then convincing the wife to accept his leadership wouldn’t be a problem. And I’ll admit to resenting the idea that my wife is in slavery...SHE sure doesn’t think I’m her Master!

As for a debate response, I’d suggest, “I’m happily married, and how we arrange our marriage is OUR business, not yours. Please stop wasting our time with questions that have no relevance to being President or to politics!”

Shuster may be right. Huckabee is to the Left of Clinton and the Democrats on many issues, so he might be hard for them to beat.

Of course, Shuster is forgetting that Conservatives just might sit the election out if Huckabee is the nominee.

I’m unaware of David Shuster ever making a political prediction that came true.

I don’t think this is going to be any different.

This country would be a totally different place if women would learn to get under their husband’s umbrella of protection. That is what this verse means, not subservient.

This is why it is said, and truly, that people get the government they deserve. You will never change my mind on this and I really believe people who do not vote should not be permitted to vote in the next election and must re register thereafter in order to be eligible.

People who can vote and do not, deserve to lose the right to vote.

The candidates are Larry, Curly and Moe. Vote wisely.

Huckabee has surged because he won a couple of debates and he’s got evangelical support. If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

In this poll Hunter is up 3% and even with Paul and Thompson.

Maybe, but it is getting late in the game. If Hunter doesn’t place well in Iowa, you can kiss his campaign goodbye.
