“..Gore is now running for god!”

That’s because there are a lot of nut cases who empower him to do so.

Even with Cal Thomas' expose' of Algoreligion, Cal falls into the trap of reverberating with alGore's "accusations," that there are (oh, horrors!) those who accept money from oil companies to do research. In Al's twisted world, he would have us believe such researchers are merely shills for oil company propaganda, and thus he would put a monkey on his enemies' back. If any should deny it, they'll implicitly be mentioning the association of oil money with the individual or group a 2nd time. (It's just like Hillary's people happily mentioning Obama and drugs in the same sentence when being asked whether the Hillary campaign would wish to retract their negative ads.)

Since when is doing work for for-profit companies ipso facto considered "an accusation" of a presumed crime? At least such companies are owned by millions of average Americans, and rise or fall in direct relationship to their ability to produce something Americans want, in a market-accpetable way!

"Science" has far more been skewed of late by the fact that many of these AGW zealots have already been conditioned by sucking on largely-unaccountable government and UN teats for a long time! If any group has been tainted by receiving money that sought to support a viewpoint, it's the wacko environmentalists and their minions that seek to shut down the engines of commerce. They're not subject to markets. They produce nothing people are buying, phony carbon offsets not withstanding!

The "Nobel" IPCC-types that still adhere to AGW love the thought that their scientific adversaries' funding would dry, simply reinforcing the ostracization the gov't.-funded-AGW string-pullers have long been enforcing through their dole of taxpayer funds, overwhelmingly to those would would set their focus pro-AGW.

It is but more projection from Leftists who're already deviously-doing-on-the-taxpayer-dollar that of which they "accuse" others. Of course, as long as they're the ones doing it, there's no reason to let such a thing ever be considered an "accusation." They're the corrupted, bought-off shills, which is one of the facts this huge smokescreen is intended to cover up!

“Could it be? Al Gore, the next Jim Jones. I think it likely.” ~ JackRyanCIA

Yes, it is.

Since we’re talking about fundamentalists, many are found to be child abusers and “liars for Jesus”. Just look at the scare-mongering that the “creation care” extremists engage in. The teachings of these “Jim Jones” wanna-be primitives are directly responsible for causing little children to have nightmares and women to abort their babies and sterilize themselves because they heard a preacher say that God wants us to “save the planet” at all costs - OR ELSE !!

First we have a theologically challenged fundamentalist in the person of the “Reverend” John (’Unless we announce disasters, no one will listen’ ) Houghton attempting to scare people into believing: “Human induced global warming is a weapon of mass destruction at least as dangerous as chemical, nuclear or biological weapons that kills more people than terrorism.” ~ Monday July 28, 2003

The NAE association’s vice president of government affairs, the Rev. Rich Cizik, says that he was also “converted” to the cause by the end-times doom preaching of Houghton. Mr. Cizik said he had a ‘conversion’ on climate change so profound in Oxford that he likened it to an ‘altar call,’ when nonbelievers accept Jesus as their savior. Mr. Cizik recently bought a Toyota Prius, a hybrid vehicle. http://www.cei.org/gencon/014,04484.cfm

“With the publication of [my] article in Science, I gained significant credibility in the community of scientists working on climate change. They thought I was one of them, someone who would pervert science in the service of social and political causes. So one of them let his guard down. A major person working in the area of climate change and global warming sent me an astonishing email that said, ‘We have to get rid of the Medieval Warm Period.’” ...:” ~ David Deming of the College of Geosciences at the University of Oklahoma relating how his work on borehole temperature data published in Science in 1995 became politicized. http://www.cei.org/gencon/014,04484.cfm

*
Then we have the child abuse case in England this year involving Ozone Al:

“Mr Johnson said that influencing the opinions of children was crucial.....”

Judge Burton: “I turn to [An Inconvenient Truth] the film. The following is clear:

“...[The Claimant] .. has established his case that the views in the film are political by submitting that Mr Gore promotes an apocalyptic vision, which would be used to influence a vast array of [behaviors] ...: “

“[Claimant’s attorney] Mr Downes, in paragraph 27 of his skeleton argument, helpfully suggested that there were factors that could be considered by a court in determining whether the expression or promotion of a particular view could evidence or indicate partisan promotion of those views:

“(i) A superficial treatment of the subject matter typified by portraying factual or philosophical premises as being self-evident or trite with insufficient explanation or justification and without any indication that they may be the subject of legitimate controversy; the misleading use of scientific data; misrepresentations and half-truths; and one-sidedness.

(ii) The deployment of material in such a way as to prevent pupils meaningfully testing the veracity of the material and forming an independent understanding as to how reliable it is.

(iii) The exaltation of protagonists and their motives coupled with the demonisation of opponents and their motives.

(iv) The derivation of a moral expedient from assumed consequences requiring the viewer to adopt a particular view and course of action in order to do “right” as opposed to “wrong.”

[snip]
England and Wales High Court (Administrative Court) Decisions
http://www.calvin.edu/archive/asa/200710/0156.html
The case and the “ruling” had to do with AlGore and his friends’ attempt to “politically indoctrinate” little children with a scientifically flawed film (Per the judges suggestion, only 9 of the errors were concentrated on as a part of this court decision).

*

AlGore now has a Nobel Peace Prize to pair with his Academy Award for “An Inconvenient Truth.” But neither accolade makes him any less a liar.

As it did when it gave the prize to Jimmy Carter in 2002, the Norwegian Nobel Committee honored Mr. Gore and the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to make a left-wing political statement.

Though it did not mention “An Inconvenient Truth” by name, the committee spoke glowingly of Mr. Gore’s political activity, lectures, films and books for reducing the “danger of violent conflicts and wars.”

The film details Mr. Gore’s arguments on global warming, but his arguments are a tissue of lies. Justice Michael Burton of the High Court of London used “exaggeration,” “apocalyptic vision,” “distinctly alarmist” and “one-sided” to describe the film. If teachers show it to students without disclosing those lies or presenting contrary viewpoints, they could be charged under British law with the crime of political indoctrination.

Climate experts admitted in court no evidence supports Mr. Gore’s assertions that warming caused Hurricane Katrina, the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro and the bleaching of coral reefs. In the case of drowning polar bears and the evacuation of some Pacific atolls, they couldn’t even document those phenomena occurred.

The court dismissed as scientific impossibilities Mr. Gore’s claims that sea levels will rise 23 feet in the next century; the Gulf Stream will stop, throwing Europe into an ice age; and warming will melt Greenland glaciers quickly, causing sea levels to rise dangerously. And the suggestion that the Antarctic ice cap is melting is refuted by “evidence ... that it is in fact increasing,” Justice Burton said.

By endorsing Mr. Gore and his lies, the Nobel committee will not further its goal of contributing to “a sharper focus on the processes and decisions that appear to be necessary to protect the world’s future climate.” Rather, it will preclude objective, rational debate on climate change, and the world will be more dangerous for it. ~ http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1910804/posts

Algore. The UN-favored shake-down artist who failed to declare his financial interest before whipping up worldwide alarm with his trademark errors and exaggerations. The director of Lehman Brothers, a global finance house that wants to control the worldwide managed market in carbon-emissions trading? The one who founded his own “green” corporation, Generation Investment Management, and is a paid member of the Board of a renewable-energy company? The one who if in the UK, made a speech containing so many deliberate and unidirectional errors as he did in Bali, and failed to declare his financial interest, would be committing a criminal offence.

When you are doing God’s work you can expect to be rewarded,” Gore said. “The abundance of that reward is but further evidence of the truth of my cause.”

Al, Al, Al. You've really jumped the shark now, big buddy!

Deut. 18:20 ff.: But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death." 21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken.

By his words, Algore has insinuated himself to God's favor, even speaking vicariously for God, as true prophets are wont to do. If Algore words are not true, however, we'll know by these things not coming to pass as he has said.

I don't believe anyone on this Earth is going to kill Al for prophetical misspeak, but these verses pretty well confirm to me that, in that case, God won't look favorably at all on his pronouncements nor his actions.

Truth will out, amen, amen.

I am now beginning to think that AlGore will not jump into the race. Wonder is Minutegal still thinks he will. We both were thinking he would jump in with Hillary having problems keeping up with Obama. Still could happen, I guess.:)

Somebody needs to find Algore and tell him his Global Warming toy needs fresh batteries. It’s -15 and this is where it was 30 years ago.

This author suggests a debate between Gore and some scientist on the anti-warming side.

Never happen. Algore is a scientific illiterate who only mouths descriptions and soundbites. He does not understand the basics of his own argument, much less the basis for the skeptical views. That's why he won't allow debate. The emporer has no clothes.

I am now beginning to think that AlGore will not jump into the race.

Timing is everything. If Clinton rallies and stops Obama, he will let it go. If Obama stymies the Clinton machine enough to throw the campaign into real uncertainty, then I expect Algore to announce. He could blow away Edwards or Obama without breaking a sweat( saying something for Al.) Plus, I think the 'rat party nomenklatura will not allow the election to ride on Obama's paper-thin resume' and slender shoulders.

I agree with Rush when he says that Gore won't get in the race for one reason only; he'd be forced a to "debate" global warming, and that is one thing he will not do.

For that reason alone, I'd love to see him get in and have to debate Thompson, who I hope will be our nominee.

"Some people think that our planet is suffering from a fever. Now scientists are telling us that Mars is experiencing its own planetary warming: Martian warming. It seems scientists have noticed recently that quite a few planets in our solar system seem to be heating up a bit, including Pluto. NASA says the Martian South Pole's "ice cap" has been shrinking for three summers in a row. Maybe Mars got its fever from earth. If so, I guess Jupiter's caught the same cold, because it's warming up too, like Pluto. This has led some people, not necessarily scientists, to wonder if Mars and Jupiter, non-signatories to the Kyoto Treaty, are actually inhabited by alien SUV-driving industrialists who run their air-conditioning at 60 degrees and refuse to recycle. Silly, I know, but I wonder what all those planets, dwarf planets, and moons in our solar system have in common. Hmm. Solar system. Hmmmm. Solar? I wonder. Nah, I guess we shouldn't even be talking about this. The science is absolutely decided. There's a consensus. Ask Galileo." ~ Fred Thompson -- April 2007, speaking about climate change on Paul Harvey's radio show

Neither him, nor his Marxist, globalist, traitorous, collectivist, friends, who are attempting to turn carbon into currency by using it against the helpless.

Hosea 4:1-3: “Hear the word of the LORD...because the LORD has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: “the land mourns because there is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery ....”

Isa. 65: 17-23: “Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. ... They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. [No one will steal what they produce from them and give it to someone else in exchange for their vote]. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. .... my chosen individuals will long enjoy the works of their hands. Individuals will not toil in vain [for a ‘collective’] ..” says the LORD.

Rev. 20: 12-13: “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God... And they were judged, EACH INDIVIDUAL, according to HIS [individual] works...”

Rev. 21:1-8: “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. .. . . He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’ .. the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murders, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the second death [complete/total separation from what they hated ( ie: all that is good) for eternity].”

One of the “good things” they hate is private individual property rights. The key to sound environment management is property rights. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1944220/posts?page=9#9

I thought some time ago that Gore might throw his hat in the ring in case of a deadlocked or brokered convention. But not any more. Why should he take a pay cut.....and all that WORK, perish the thought.

Not only could he NOT debate global warming as a candidate, but he's too rich and too bloated now to become a candidate for anything. He can ride his lucrative gravy train for a few more years till he gets derailed.

Gore is the pope of his own heathen mother-earth religion. The glassy-eyed masses will continue to fill his collection plates as long as he holds the worldwide media in his hands.

"I got the whole wor-uld in my hands......"

Bubba has got to be as jealous as all heck.
