Sir Isaac Ford, the son of former Congressman Harold Ford, Sr., was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of driving drunk.
Ford was charged with DUI, public intoxication, speeding and disorderly conduct after being stopped in Midtown about 4 a.m.
When he was brought to the Shelby County Jail for processing, Ford became combative and refused to give a thumb print, according to police reports.
Police said he did poorly on the field sobriety tests and registered a .115 on the breath alcohol test.
Memphis officers spotted Ford, 32, speeding in a red Mercedes-Benz on Union at Cleveland, according to the charges. At Cooper, police said, Ford was traveling 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. They pulled him over at East Parkway, where Ford agreed to take the sobriety tests, according to reports.
Once in the jail, Ford became combative and began cursing, police said. He was put in a holding cell at the jail when he refused to give his thumb print.

Okay, but what about when a mother names her two boys, “Liquor and Famous (Fort Worth TX). No kidding, Liquor was killed in a gang shooting.
Famous has yet to meet his demise.
Guess mom awoke under the liquor cabinet after procreating and came up with those wonderful names.

Saw the ghost of Harold,
Down on Union Avenue.
Followed him up to the gates of Midtown,
And I watched him drive right through.

I meta kid whose parents named him Success. They thought it would help him get focused on where he wanted to go in life. But, when I asked him what the kids called him for short It obviously was very painful(you had might as well be a boy named Sue).

This business about some Blacks giving their children odd sounding names is not based on wanting a name that will bring respect. These names are passive aggressive punches at White America. They say in essence : We know we HAVE to have two names, a first and a last name to access the freebies Whitey has, but will NEVER name our sons Bill or our daughters Mary. Those are White names. No, we will name our kids Ummbutoooo or Femalia before we do that. That way they will NEVER be part of the White man’s America except on check day. When wealthy Blacks do stuff like this “Sir” business it is usually to suck up to the voters on the corner.
