Here is a link to a photo showing Benazir Bhutto moments before she was shot. (Videos on CNN show that her Toyota Land Cruiser had an armored interior. Had she remained fully within that armored protection, she likely would still be alive.) Here's what actually happened:
After the large political rally, she is shown getting into the SUV with several other people. The SUV and a black vehicle its left then drive about 50 yards, where a crowd surrounded her vehicle. She decided to stand up through the sunroof to greet the crowd. However, one or more assassins were in that crowd that stopped her vehicle as it was driving away from the rally. That's when she was shot.

I wouldn’t doubt that elements within Mush’s group helped - or at least did nothing to prevent it. That being said, it’s more likely an al Queda plot (they’ve already taken credit) to throw Pak into civil war, create Pakistani front to either replace or augment the Iraqi front, to create a complex nuclear crisis involving both internal Pak control and international tensions involving India & China & US & Russia & Iran.
Yeah, it's like Los Angeles or Detroit, except for the part about stealing the TVs.
I think it is safe to say that there was a conspiracy to have Bhutto eliminated on this day. One way or the other. Too many things happened too perfectly for this to have been a lone nut job with a dynamite/ball bearing vest.
No disrespect to either of you, but that is pure speculation. It may have been the case, but may not have been as well.
As the photo on Getty Images shows, she exposed herself by standing up through the sunroof. According to witnesses, the sequence of events is that she was shot at least twice. Then the bomber blew himself up. We have no other facts other than that the vehicle left the rally location, made a right turn onto another street, travelled roughly a block or less, then was stopped by a crowd in which a shooter/bomber was located.
I thought the same thing. It's probably empty.
To be fair they riot when they have good news too.

That link is merely a Getty Search using the term "Bhutto".
It picked up the Shillary images, as well as Bush and Karzai because the descriptions of each image says "...reacting to Bhutto..." or otherwise has Bhutto in the pix desc.
Sure the news is slanted, but for crying out loud. Getty is not culpable for boosting Hillary on Bhutto's corpse for crying out loud.
Getty has exhibited a liberal bias for a long time.
I truly do not want any mosque’s in America. This shit needs to never be brought into this country. Islam is not a religion of peace and I wish the POTUS and any other talking head would quit stating such. These things are not human, to call them monkeys would be an insult to monkeys. Perhaps they are the missing link. The entire world would benefit if these muslims no longer existed. Sorry for the rant but I am absolutely sick of seeing this crap in the news every day.

She was shot first. Then the shooter blew himself up. If you don't mind looking at very graphic photos, go to the GettyImages link I posted at the top of this tread. There are about 4 pages of images. If you scroll through them, you'll see that most (not all) of the wounds on the victims of the bombing appear to have been to their legs and lower torsos. That suggests some in the crowd might have been trying to wrestle the shooter/bomber to the ground when he set off his bomb.
Just wait for someone in Hillary’s camp to play the “They will do anything to prevent a woman from being leader” card. Despite the fact that Bhutto was already the leader of Afghanistan and her administration was knee deep in corruption.

Amen JasonC, she was very Brave and stood for something, perhaps her death will cause more Muslims to at least think about their society and reflect a bit.

Yeah, as I recall, on the way to his final dirt nap, Khomeini’s coffin got so jostled as it surfed through the crowd that the body fell out. After that, I guess they just passed him overhead hand-to-hand, crowd-surfing like it was a big rock concert or something.
That’s not as funny as the Israeli surveillance video of a Palestinian “funeral procession” like this one, in which shooting broke out, the “deceased” fell out of the coffin...and got up and ran away!

It may be speculation but it doesn’t take too much of a brain to figure that one out. Let’s say you are planning to “get someone” and yet you don’t know which one of several possible routes they are going to take. It’s simple — you station your killers at each of the routes. Now, how much in the way of brain-power does that take?

We don't know that there WAS more than one route. That was simply a question I had. IF there was more than one route, then how did the assassin(s) know it? Again, I don't mean to disrespect you (nor to argue with you), but you launched your scenario off of my question, not off of any facts.
