SOME ACTUAL FAULT OF THE CANDIDATE OTHER THAN THE STUPID NAME RECOGNITION

Oh, yes, and by the way (from the start of this thread), accepting an endorsement from something both arrogantly and blasphemously called "God voters" shows an astounding lack of discernment about the electorate and electoral politics.

Any candidate for national office who could imagine for a second that such an endorsement would not cost him 3 votes for every vote gained is unqualified to be a major party nominee.

Yes, and the lack of media coverage, right? All Hunter’s fault for being TOO GOOD when people do see him. He has the record and personal qualities. You are not making a convincing case to not vote for him.

I strongly believe it is tied with the media. And the manipulation of people who learn of Hunter and like him best but are being led into this defeatist attitude of not giving him the support. The media is going to extremes to keep people from the knowledge of Hunter even being a candidate. But, like I say, Hunter is solid when he is given the coverage and is quick thinking and doesn’t stumble like the others. Best candidate by far. It would be the best thing if he overcame the media silence and got the GOP nomination because they really are in fear of him. He has the goods.

I agree. And I think that interview I posted (and the others that are posted at FR) shows exactly why he doesn’t get time during the debates.

Ever see him on Hardball with Al Sharpton? Hunter handled him so well, Al Sharpton’s show was great!

Now you know that is leadership!

Yes, and the lack of media coverage, right? I strongly believe it is tied with the media.

Is the media preventing Hunter from using the US Mail in New Hampshire?

Is the media preventing Hunter campaign workers from putting up signs and from going door-to-door?

Honestly, if Hunter can't out-campaign Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo (not to mention, on the other side, Mike Gravel!) in New Hampshire, how can he possibly run a national campaign?

If what you say were true, then Fred would have been smoking Huckabee all over the place. But the opposite is true.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

So it turns out that DH is also an intellectual! (Actually all politicians probably get automatically classified as intellectuals along with actors and a whole host of the usual suspects. LOL.)

The first paragraphs of A Third Testament: A Modern Pilgrim Explores the Spiritual Wanderings of Augustine, Blake, Pascal, Tolstoy, Bonhoeffer, Kierkegaard, and Dostoevsky read like a Foundation novel. But who needs fiction with real life infinitely more interesting?

When at the beginning of the fifth century A.D. Rome was sacked, Augustine was at the height of his fame as the Bishop of Hippo in North Africa. Confronted with the dissolution of the Roman Empire, like a latter-day Noah, he was constrained to construct an ark, in his case Orthodoxy, wherein his Church could survive through the dark days that lay ahead.

Thanks largely to Augustine, the light of the New Testament did not go out with Rome's but remained amidst the debris of the fallen empire to light the way to another civilization, Christendom, whose legatess we are.

Thanks for sharing.
