What surprises me is everyone has been hollering about a real conservative. Well here he is. All you have to do is vote for Duncan.

The fact that Hunter and Thompson are not vying for first and second place is simply a reflection of the sad state of the nation's collective intellect and character.

If the goofballs at the top of each party's list is any indicator, we are headed "hugh and series" problems.

I am really sorry you feel that way. He is a calm and assertive leader. And, no he hasn’t been given the chance to show who he is and you know I am right. The debates have been a joke given over to junk.

It’s too bad if the American people elect another RINO who is all glitter and nothing much else.

I see little evidence of electability among the top tier candidates. Tough questions seem to set them at each others throats and do nothing to show how electable they are.

Hunter on the other hand welcomes the tough questions and calmly answers according to his beliefs.

“...Yall might want to help him get some “fire” in his belly though instead of throwing darts at people who voice real concerns.”

My apologies if you think mine was an attack at you, it wasn’t. My point is that we all know, and have discussed many a time the MSM leftist bias, and I’m trying to state it comes in many forms. FT’s alleged lack of fire is one of those MSM contrivances that seems to be working with all too many. If FT hadn’t the “Fire”, he wouldn’t be out pounding the pavement as he has been.

Duncan Hunter attends many a function for the purpose of his campaign to become President, but his success selling himself is impaired by deliberate sandbagging of his efforts by the MSM. That is another means of aiding the Leftist candidacies preferred by the MSM.

Huckabee’s ride to the top is another MSM contrivance in the same manner as the MSM attempts to sell Conservatives on Rudy Giuliani.

My point, as I said is the media is calling the shots and all too many aren’t recognizing the fact they are if not directly falling for the ploy, they are subliminally coerced by the ploy.

It’s best to simply study and stand behind he whom you believe in upon completion of your study of the candidates, and disregard the MSM.

I only in the last couple of months finally decided upon FT because I was studying all the candidates. Duncan Hunter tops my list, but because of the manner in which the MSM prohibits his progress, and I have to accept that I personally cannot do a thing about it, I see much potential in Fred Thompson as he too is a quality person, and he has the ability to gain more press even if it is negative. A lot of folks, understanding the MSM is biased towards the Left will take their negativisms as positives for Fred.

I know. Here is a candidate the people could really get behind and they just want to vote for who has the star power. More to the point; people seem to be buying into this load.

Someone, anyone get a backbone and stand up for America. We have a golden opportunity here. Don’t blow it.

We will get Hillary or worse for sure.

“Thinking about who can beat Hillary IS thinking about your country.”

Obama might beat Hillary. Does that help our country?

I sent him a bottle of Blair sauce. Secret Service didn’t seem to take it so well. They kept mumbling something about “chemical weaponary”.

On this I disagree. It’s isn’t that he hasn’t been given a chance it’s that he never over his almost 30 years of sucking at the gov’t teat made the effort to become a nationally known leader among the Republican party or other sectors. You don’t stay hidden in your little 635,000 population sized CD and expect the remainder of the nation to know your abilities, your beliefs, etc. In other words you have to earn the respect and display the abilities that people abscribe to leaders.

This isn’t to denigrate his conservative values and beliefs because I honestly think he has them. It only recognizes what I see as his most major flaw or lack of rising to the penacle of leadership among the Republicans and on our national/world stage. It is something you do over time and not in a few debates when you suddenly decide you want to be the leader of the most important nation in the free world.

I can and respect your belief in him. It’s just that I see his abilities in a different manner and that manner isn’t being President.

I understand why you believe the way you do; however; Duncan Hunter is capable of being President. And maybe it’s time to quit listening to all of the pre-packaged establishment backed candidates who only see the glories of being President.

I know you mean to be kind; but I sincerely want the America we want and our forefathers intended it to be. I have found such a man that could do that in Duncan Hunter.
