You are not a conservative then if those issues do not matter to you.
You mean unless abortion is not your top issue you are not a conservative? How about fiscal conservative? How about anti-illegal immigration conservative? How about strong on defense conservative? How about strong on punishing criminals conservative?
Besides I am prolife and pro-gun ownerships. Just not at the very top of my priority list. So that flunks me as a conservative in your eyes? That is sad.
That is the kind of thinking that has us in the position where the Huckster is a potential nominee for the republican party. All spectrum of conservative issues are important, not just abortion and guns.
The abortion issue is important, but not the end of the story. After all if abortion is THE issue for you then you must love Harry Reid, because he is pro-choice.
For my part although I am pro-life, I am much more concerned about the lives of 300 million Americans, if the likes of pro-life Mike “Bunker Mentality” Huckabee are running our foreign policy under the banner of “conservatism”. (shudder)
