Nixon was her role-model — the paranoia, the files-keeping, the enemy lists. But the Beast has far surpassed the Crook.
Nixon was just a moron, thinking he needed dirty-tricks to beat McGovern who he could have beaten without even campaigning.
The Beast is pure evil.
I’m seeing this differently. This morning, for the first time, I saw the Guillianni ad. It’s good (No, rudy is not my guy), darn good. Take that ad and put it together with the idea that billy boy does NOT want hill to be president and you have him saying that rudy is the guy to vote for. Is that a stretch? I simply do not see the self-absorbed goober letting his wife outshine him.
I remember thinking at the time why would Nixon resort to dirty tricks to win an election that he was going to win anyway? As it turned out, he didn’t know about the Watergate caper before it happened. His crime was in covering it up when he did find out about it. - Knowing the Democrat Party, is anyone naive enough to think they didn’t have a dirty tricks patrol on steroids in play even as far back as Watergate? I suppose in a sense one might think Nixon had his own in self-defense.
When I read “Witness” by Whittaker Chambers , I saw a different side of Nixon;one of courage. And I think for the way he tried to expose communists, he won the enduring loathing of the press.
You are so right! I have read that people in Clinton’s Whitehouse who worked with her say that she is “extremely vindictive, has a vicious temper, and should even be called evil.”
You are so right! I have read that people in Clinton’s Whitehouse who worked with her say that she is “extremely vindictive, has a vicious temper, and should even be called evil.” They both have horrible tempers and do pay back those who go against them. We don’t need the Clintons back in power again, EVER!
