I didn’t see Sherrif Joe Arpiao of Maricopa County Arizona on the list.
He was just on Fox News endorsing Romney as having the best position on illegal immigration. He said Governor Romney will make a great president.
Arpaio has been called “America’s Toughest Sheriff” for his controversial approach to operating the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, mainly in regards to his treatment of inmates. He has a large number of vocal supporters for his toughness on crime and criminals. Many civil libertarians denounce him for what they believe to be a willingness to ignore constitutional rights in favor of blind enforcement. Arpaio has stated that his goal is to have the most populated jail in the country.
A group known as “People Who Used to Support Abortion But Then Claim to Have Changed Their Mind, for Personal Political Gain” are also very strong supporters of Mitt Romney.
Mostly RINOs, gun-grabbers, and Mormons.
Shouldn’t Flip Wilson be on that list?
And, I will bet he gets the Mormon Tabernacle Choir also.
Does absolutely nothing for me either about voting for the RINO. I was quite disgusted to see Sheriff Joe on Fox News backing him today. The wife had to turn the channel as she quickly noticed the veins coming out of the sides of my head. If he wins the nomination I will probably not vote for POTUS. After all Idaho only has 2 Electoral College votes and is a guaranteed vote for any Republican/Conservative even for someone pretending to be one.
