Without any links, this post is nothing but a rumor.
Get real.

This poll was taken before the Huckabee disaster this afternoon.
The only Iowa poll that matters is the one taking place 72 hours from now around the state of Iowa.

“On McCain’s heels in the poll at 9 percent each are Texas Rep. Ron Paul, whose support in Iowa has gradually been building, and former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson.”
Ouch!
I certainly hope Fred triples his numbers on the 3rd.

Do Republicans get a “second vote” the way Democrats do? Do Republican candidates have the same 15% minimum, like the Democrats?

This isn’t official, I guess it is anecdotal, but I just called a friend in Iowa and he said that there were four of them at his house watching a Red dawn DVD, cleaning their assault rifles and drinking Jack Daniels.
Since I had him on the phone I asked him how many of them were going to vote for Fred Thompson, after asking them, he told me that all four are going to vote for Fred, so figuring that my buddy is pretty average, that is like, well, Fred may get 100% Iowa.

after Fred’s putdown of its editor, not at all surprising the Register would manage for him to have low numbers in their last poll.
