Because he’ll say whatever his audience wants to hear?

Romney is the biggest liar and flip-flopper to come along since Bill Clinton.

The conservative movement and Republican party will have absolutely no credibility left if it decides to back Willard. Liars like Romney destroy everything they touch.

Meet "Gordon Bitner Hinckley" the mormon "prophet, seer, and revelator." People derisively call Mike Huckabee the "Huckster." Well folks, Mr. Hinckley here is a true huckster that hails from a long line of them all the way back to the huckster Joseph Smith (the 19th Century's combination David Koresh and Ron Hubbard). This fellow will be Mitt's spiritual advisor (quite possibly more) and will certainly enjoy spending time as a frequent special guest at the White House under a Romney administration. There is NO WAY having Mitt Romney as the GOP nominee will succeed in uniting the factions of the GOP - a true evangelical Christian will not vote for a cultist. His nomination will just produce further chaos in the GOP.

Please spare me the man from Massachusetts. It is time to shed the skin of shifty politics and start the New Year a fresh. Romney is an example of a potential disaster for the Republican party. If you want a super extension of the George Bush compassionate conservative theme and a continued blurring of the lines between Republican and Democrats then vote for Romney. I for one don’t want a man who defends Universal Health care. Any Republican who thinks the government should mandate Health Insurance not unlike Hillary Clinton is a conservative in name only. Anyone who thinks insurance is going to solve the Health care cost problem is also crazy. What is driving up costs isn’t lack of insurance.

Romney is a big government Republican not unlike Huckabee. He may talk a good talk and look nice while doing it but what he offers isn’t the conservatism of Reagan it is conservatism light. Meeting the left half way is not the solution to our nations problems. It is a recipe for a continued slide into the pit of spending to feed the antlion of a government which sees no limits to its feeding.

“Northeast Liberal,” “Massachusetts,” etc. Some people have gotten too accustomed with labels that they cannot see or think objectively. They have a proven, conservative winner and successful person right in front of their eyes and don’t even see it. Shame.

LOL,

I’m shocked, shocked, that Doug Wilson ...... a California co-chair of Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign .... thinks Mr. Romney is “right for IOWA, America”.

My goodness, who knows what I’ll see posted next on FR.

If Mitt Romney, or Rudy Giuliani, is nominated by the Republican Party, this will leave the country with two evil Parties - a veritable Democrat Party A and Democrat Party B.

I, for one, should this occur, will be leaving the GOP and working to help set up the conservative alternative. We may not take enough folks with us to win, in the short term, but we will almost certainly guarantee that the Republican Party will not win another national election ever.

You, and all of the compromised so-called “conservatives,” might want to take one last chance to take a deep breath and reconsider the outcome of what you’re advocating.

Don’t say nobody warned you.

I found such a candidate in Mitt Romney.

Doug Wilson is not exactly what I would call "savvy".
