If Huckabee can’t stand up to Romney attacking his record as governor of Arkansas, how can he stand up to Hillary Clinton in November??

Let me get out my violin and play the appropriate background music for your sad tale of disappointment, and heartbreak.

Same thing happened to me when they took Rocky and Bullwinkle off the air.

I saw that intro...and then the next thing he did is announce that he’d show the video.

At least the press caught the hypocrisy in that.

I just got through reading Cameron’s blog, duh. Watch tonight at 6, i think that’s when Carl says they are going to show the ad “that is the first copy you can really hear and understand”.
Sorry you feel duped. I feel I can pretty much sort the wheat and chafe from reading and watching tv.

Huck’s Press Conference (The part Fox News will NEVER show you)

Excuse me, I SAW this on FOX!

I also have no intention of voting for him.

Sure, YOU’RE “fair and balanced”?

I am glad he hit the money theme again . Calling the love of money the root of all evil , does not go far enough for Huck . The earning , having , and certainly the spending in furtherance of your First Amendment rights is EVIL .

Enjoy Huckabee's ratings while you can because he has hit his peak and the rest of his ride will be downhill.

Perhaps not as steep as Dean's in '04 but in the same direction!

Previously I watched Fox News every day. Morning & evening. Now I no longer watch them. They are about as fair & balanced as the Today Show. Perhaps a good bit less.

I have been planning to complain to my cable provider to drop them.

Huckabee just isn't being honest. He wasn't honest about the cross in his ad, and he's not being honest about this little stunt. This is a very elaborate version of the "Because I'm taking the high road, I'm not going to criticize my opponents fill in the blank here" gag.

You are either a liar or you are totally insane. Any sane person can tell Huckabee is a total phony. He hides behind these religious platitudes and slick photo ops and pretends that the MSM(”the pundits”) haven’t been supporting him all along. Then he passes out attack info to the pundits and takes a holier than thou attitude about it. He is so phony he makes me sick.

Okay, I watched the video and got bored. Why would Fox show it?

I know that many here hate Mike Huckabee but I think the common ground we may have is in feeling betrayed by this so-called "fair & balanced" network.

I am one of those who has a disdain for Mike Huckabee's candidacy. And just like all politicians, Huckabee is just another panderer who caters to a certain segment of those who like what he's pandering. Which brings us to Fox News. They pander to a particular viewership just as all the other news outlets do. Their programming is designed to attract and maintain viewers so. Businesses with products to sell will see the ratings with each separate program (to include time slot, host, demographic) and they'll purchase advertising time that they feel will increase the likelihood that viewers will purchase their products. Fox then sells advertising time to these businesses and that's how the network earns its revenue. This is the way the "news" is and has always been.

I don't expect anyone who actually supports Huckabee to understand any of this though. But know this: Huckabee understands it...it's one of the reasons the guy has bee successful in politics. He's a packaged product and you a willing consumer of his product and particular packaging. Let's make no mistake, though, there is no room in Huckabee's marketing mix for a limited government and federalism. I'm not in the market for what Huckabee is marketing...their are other substitutes in the market with more appeal.

This is the part of the press conference that has about a snowball's chance in hell of being aired on Fox News.

Sorry. Nice Try but it was shown on Fox. Just because you had your TV turned off doesn’t mean it wasn’t.

I know that many here hate Mike Huckabee …

I don’t “hate” Huckabee. But I don’t like him either and I just don’t trust him nor do I, as a Conservative, think he should be the nominee or that he would be a good POTUS.

but I think the common ground we may have is in feeling betrayed by this so-called "fair & balanced" network. After 8 or so years, I have no place for them in my home any longer.

I guess you’ll be tuning into CNN and MSNBC instead?

The Huckster said he wouldn’t “run” the ad (the ad that he had already made just days earlier), then showed it to the press, knowing full well that the contents of the ad would still be aired without actually being aired (or spending a dime for the airtime) and then attempted to say, “See this is the negative ad I made but won’t run. Look what a great guy I am for not running it.” Why he even had a Bible quote to back him up and some woman in the audience with “Yes, Yes and Amen”. Is he running a Presidential campaign or a revival meeting?

I am so turned off by the actions of these people Mike Huckabee that I feel the damage to my perception of them is irreparable. Times are changing and people are getting wise to Huckabee’s passive aggressive BS.

There. I fixed it for ya.

The violins come out for Huckabee whenever he is exposed to truth about his record, or when his hypocrisy is exposed.
