“Impeach” signs and anti-Patriot Act signs were visible along the parade route

Indeed...I could see 'em on the HD channel we chose to watch (Discovery)...there were also 7 clowns way in the background holding letter cards that spelled out RON PAUL.

The deputies did nothing to impede these expressions of "free speech", as some were not a dozen feet away.

...a large copy of the Constitution..

Since their side gets most of it's power from somewhere else wouldn't a large copy of US Supreme Court Rulings be more appropriate?

Cindy Sheehan could get everything she wants in life by self-exiling herself to Cuba or Venezuela so it begs the question: Why is she still here?

our nation has utterly devastated and destroyed theirs.

A defeatist's stunning admission: we've won.

Good news!
I watched it twice in HD and never noticed anything political!

I wasn’t looking for it either...just like 99% of viewers.

Oh, the irony! If C. S. and her cohorts got their way we’d all be under Sharia, and a White Rose Society would be sorely needed.

Lefties such as she is are dumb, and very short-sighted.

NBC kept showing these Sheeham Clowns even though they could have zoomed in on the parade and not show the idiots. NBC wanted to show the idiots and they did.

I watched the Rose Parade on the House & Garden Network. They not only showed the Marine Corps Band, they showed them both at a slow march and a regular paced march. And they showed a group of USMC veterans in the stands, in uniform, standing and saluting as the band went by.

Very respectful. Very moving.

We usually are at the Rose Parade. This year we are in Texas and didn’t get to go. (Used to live in Calif till last June) We sure missed the whole experience. Isn’t the same watching it on TV. There are protests some times. One year some people were protesting for native Americans, I don’t remember what the exact beef was. We didn’t know about it till the next day, it was in the news. Along the parade route we are having such a great time, that we didn’t even know about the protests. If you ever get a chance to go it is SO WORTH IT.

BushCo have desecrated our Constitution and the almost complete fascist take-over of our media and the blatant stealing of our freedoms here at home have bypassed many Americans while they are slumbering in our dull, stupid sleep.

Even irony with the weight of an anvil is lost on this idiot.

As promised, St. Cindy stinks up the Rose Bowl parade

It's not the "Rose Bowl Parade," but rather, the Tournament of Roses Parade, or Rose Parade. The event began in 1890, more than three decades before the first Rose Bowl Game was played in 1923.
