Individual polls can be wrong, but hundreds of polls over the course of 13 months draw a clear and obvious picture. There’s a handful of candidates that are just plain doomed.

It’s not my fault you obviously didn’t bother to read what I wrote, and if pointing out the truth insults you that’s up to you to change the truth.

OK. And, as I have asked you several times before, why is he a "real" Conservative?

Hint: The point of the thread is to explain what a “real” Conservative is.

Based on who you're supporting, I think we know what the real point of this thread is.

Focus group somewhere else.

Because his rhetoric actually matches the record and conduct. None of this “pay no attention to what I said or did yesterday, it’s what I mean at this moment” opportunistic nonsense and hypocrisy.

No, the real point of this thread is to get the people who present themselves as the sole authority on deciding who is acceptable and who is not to reveal to the rest of us what their definitions are. My theory is that you don’t have one apart from “not your guy.” Prove me wrong.

If Duncan Hunter runs for governor of California and wins, he would have a great shot at becoming POTUS. After four years in that spotlight, he would have huge name-recognition, would be able to generate cash, and could make a serious run. Right now, he’s going nowhere. Can we start a movement to get him to run?

Having him as Mitt’s VP choice would give him that exposure as well and would shore up the “Conservatives who have doubts about Romney” vote.

I respectfully disagree. A conservative who is skeptical abou Human caused global warming would change his position if he was presented with an accurate, persuasive reasoned argument. This differs us from liberals who have a dogma and change would amount to heresy

Only someone who professes to be a Conservative to mask at least some socialist tendencies would consider the possibility global warming can be supported with a well reasoned and persuasive argument.

A Conservative realizes this false premise has nothing to do with the environment but has everything to do with socialists using the environment as a means to enact more legislation and regulation to control the masses and thereby accomplish it's goal of replacing our Democratic Republic with Socialism.
