They are really pushing hard for a holy war. They know that the only way to mobilize the majority of muslims to jihad is to convince them that islam itself is under attack. GWB did not oblige them following 9/11, so they are just going to keep pissing us off until we finally snap.

I still say Bush had the right idea. We took it to Iraq on our terms (never mind the initial execution - that's for another discussion). We didn't wait until it was forced on us.
