From Fox news Live
Hard to say how the numbers will change.
Every precinct voted by 7:30 and was calling in the numbers to the automated system in Des Moines at the same time.
It is a real victory for Huck, or rather for the Christian voters who mobilized for him. It is a incredible, stunning defeat for Romney and Rudy.
And of course a victory for the all around Conservative choice Fred Thompson.
Some message. I can't believe a candidate that had almost no support from the Repub establishment, conservative talk radio, or the conservative blogosphere won the first primary. This proves the fundies in Iowa are either not non-social issues or so high on Jesus juice they don't care.
Well it is a minority vote after all and they are all like Grape.
Handful of wealthy looking people in suits with their Romney buttons and signs. The rest were working class looking people. One good thing I noticed was that the Republicans were much younger on average than the Democrats meeting down the hall.
BEST line of the thread! You could write for Conan O'Brien or Craig Ferguson!
We aren’t just a one-issue party.
Mike Allen of Politico was just on Fox, and it was mind-boggling: Fred Thompson coming in third means he’s almost done. John McCain coming in fourth was a “great night,” and you’d rather be John McCain tonight if you’re not Barack Obama because it was such a great night for McCain.
The pro-McCain comments were repeated by the Fox pundits.
Say what??
Fox news...full of morons. I want to smack a few of them.
If it wasn’t for their results present, I would change the channel right now.
So why isn’t Fred getting more news coverage. This is the second biggest story of the evening.

Oh my, that made me pissed off. And all the fox people are praising him.
Wonder why we hate the MSM.
Yeah, but Mitt has a lot of $$$ to pay his bills. I ain’t crying for him. But Huck has to pay Ed Rollins a big fat bill after this thing is over. I don’t think Huck is going to win the GOP nomination because he doesn’t have the $$$ to continue.

Let him know what you think.
CNN was saying earlier that the candidates spent approx. $200 per each caucus-goer. My reaction: Cool! Any of them pays me $500 and they get my vote. It’s just a dang caucus after all. I’d consider it my federal “prebate” - LOL.
With Romney losing in Iowa, it’s OVER for Romney.
He’s toast!!!
If flip flop Romney loses in NH, he is done.!
Or do you think he will magically win SC? By then, he will be forgotten.
Im from Tenn. A Baptist Minister and a Fred supporter.I am confident Fred will continue and will eventually win the Presidancy. He is a man of his word and Im aFredhead.
“or even voting democrat”? Geez, give me a break...
(sigh)
I was just watching FAUX News, and they were saying that they thought Thompson’s third place finish was lights-out time for him - but Juan’s fourth-place finish was giving him some big mo.
Yes, if Mitt loses NH then he is probably done unless another candidate drops out and endorses him, or some wierd thing happens. Everyday something happens.
