Unless Iowa shook things up it certainly looks like McCain is gonna win NH - with Fred not in the top 5. Like it or not McCain is back in the running.

Maybe we could help with a slogan— John McCain - better than the other Rhinos.

Reports on the ground are that NH, being an open caucus with open party registration and little to no validation of residency, has been infiltrated with out-of-state MoveOn.Org types preparing to throw the GOP primary into chaos.

I don't believe for a second that we can attribute any credibility to the results in NH until they correct their problem with their voter registration and ID problem.

Not a very solid vote of confidence.
I will not vote for McCain.
His support for amnesty and his McCain Feingold b.s. negates his chances with me.

I don't see how McCain can call himself an American!

press release from the Citizens for Global Solutions (CGS) back in January of 2005 hailing McCain for his support of the ICC. While McCain was quoted as saying about the ICC, “I’m not satisfied that there are enough safeguards” for U.S. citizens, the CGS said that “his declaration at the World Economic Forum was the strongest indication to date that he would be in favor of the United States joining the ICC in the near future.”

America must either remain a constitutional republic or submit to international law because it cannot do both.’”

“Unlike the rest of the Republican field,” reporter Bob Egelko said, “Sen. John McCain has said he would like to see the United States join the international court, although he would first require more protections for U.S. personnel.” The ICC would strip Americans of Bill of Rights protections if they were apprehended and put on trial for alleged international crimes. The article did not explain how McCain would change the institution, which is now in existence, in order to require those protections. Most of the rest of the world, led by the European Union, rejected any safeguards for U.S. citizens.

John McCain would be an unmitigated disaster as POTUS. He constantly talks about his hero TR, but I think he would govern as Herbert Hoover. Why do I think that McCain is the 21st century equivalent of Hoover? Hoover, just as McCain, was the darling of the media. He was a technocrat serving in Wilson's 'rat regime and the Harding, Coolidge Republican administrations. Most people throughout the twenties were not sure whether Hoover was a Republican or a 'RAT, because he had never declared that he was affiliated with a particular party.

When Hoover declared for the presidency in March of 1928, he was being sought after by both parties to accept their nominations. Hoover selected the GOP as his political vehicle, but he was just as comfortable with the 'rats as he was with the GOP. Hoover, like McCain, was a political crossdresser, who felt at ease with both 'rats and Republicans.

Hoover was a green eyeshade budget balancer who raised the top marginal rates substantially to reduce the deficit. This is one of the reasons that the thirties turned out so badly for America and the world. I believe that McCain is a proponent of higher taxes to cover a budgetary shortfall in the spirit and tradition of Hoover. Just like Hoover, a McCain presidency will create a legacy, that in my humble opinion, will insure a 'rat restoration that could last a couple of generations.
