What a pathetic argument for aquittal. I can’t believe any lawyer could present such an argument with a straight face. He ought to get three years, too, for bringing such a frivolous claim. (shaking head)
In first or second year a law student learns the following mantra. (I’m not kidding)
If you have the Law, beat on the Law.
If you have the facts, beat on the facts.
If you have nothing, beat on the table.
