The new American Research Group poll gives Barack Obama a 12-point lead over Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire. Here are the numbers, compared to their last pre-Iowa tracking poll:

Obama 38% (+7) Clinton 26% (-9) Edwards 20% (+5)

Like today's Rasmussen poll, which shows similar numbers, this poll was conducted entirely after the Iowa Caucus results were known. The margin of error is ±4%, giving Obama a lead outside the margin.

Man I sure wouldn’t want to have been the staffer who brought today’s poll numbers to Hillary today.

Won’t the American people have to apologize to Dan Quayle if they elect Obama President? They agreed in 1988 with Lloyd M. Bentsen, Jr., that Quayle’s eight years in the Senate (twice that of Obama’s) was insufficient for the VICE PRESIDENCY. Now do they want in Obama only half the Quayle Senate experience for PRESIDENT? Maybe the sheeple don’t know that they want. Even “Gerry” Ferraro had two more years of congressional experience than does Obama.

One would think there would be enough former MA feminists — the Shaheen types — living up in NH to hold it for Hillary. But some of the Hillaryites may be going into the other primary for McCain.

Or Oprah-Obama tops Clinton-Clinton

Most NH people no longer believe in “Live Free or Die”. In fact, those who object can blot it off their license plate if they wish, a court once ruled. I wonder how many paint it out?

Republican candidates have to be perfect. Democrat ones just have to sound sincere.

I just saw a Hillary Rally on C-span. I have seen more excitement at semester tests in college. I don’t care how well she is doing in the other big states down the road. She isn’t going anywhere. She is a terrible candidate. Period....... Those future states will go for Obama just like NH will.
