Trailing in N.H. Polling, Clinton Takes More Control of Campaign
Washington Post ^ | 1/6/08 | Anne E. Kornblut and Shailagh Murray

HAMPTON, N.H., Jan. 6 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, slipping further behind her chief rival in the Democratic primary here, has taken direct control over her strategy and message as she scrambles to block the ascent of Sen. Barack Obama.

-snip-

In an unscheduled conference call with senior aides on Sunday morning, Hillary Clinton took what her advisers described as an unprecedented level of control over the direction of the daily message -- issuing orders rather than soliciting advice. According to one participant in the call, Clinton did not explicitly relieve any advisers of responsibilities, but made it clear that she intended to reorient her campaign toward sharpening her differences with Obama on the trail.

. I would infinitely rather the Republican nominee face Hillary than Obama—she’s much easier to defeat.

Don't be so sure...remember there are minions of brain-dead Dem voters coupled in with 'Rat voter fraud that can turn the trick for Hellary....we must be ever vigilant and we better have a decent nominee for the GOP....and we know them pickins' is slim.

This is shaping up to be the most open contest ever..... Over the past month any number of these players could win it.... I do think Hillary would lose ‘08 hands down.... although if a Dim wins I could live with Obama as he will never get his ideas thru any legislation.

Probably not...

This KOS Comment pretty sums up the mood among the radical Clintonites:

“Confrontation is democracy, and do you really think playing nice is what we should do after Cheney, Karl Rove and their neocon brigade have destroyed the Constitution?

It’s time to push the republicans back. Tell them to sit down and shut the f**k up. I almost want to throw up at how spineless this party is.”
(my Profanity edit)

These people DO NOT want to play nice, they are demanding someone who will stand up for all they have been led to believe.

Their minds simply cannot adjust to the FACT that most of what they have been led to believe is utter BS, spewed by folks with an agenda FAR DIFFERENT than thier own.

Now that the useful idiots are no longer useful, they are almost in PAIN with thier rage...

She continued to use the "that's not change" mantra, with an enthusiastic audience eventually joining in the chant.

Was this the entusiastic crowd she had bussed in from NY?

The ones that had a 2 day trip paid by the campaign?

The same ones who were asking some of the questions during her Q and A

Obama has a long way to go before America would give that amount of power to an empty suit.

“Hillary is a control freak, how can she take more control of something she already controls totally??”

How many times have we heard from her staff that EVERYTHING goes through and must be approved by HRC?

Of course, how many times have we heard HRC state she didn’t know what her staff was doing, or saying?

But.... next time she would!

The exchange when the questioner from New Hampshire put it to Hillary that the people polled that they liked Obama and did not like Hillary. She then looked down, then raised her chin, and then said, "That hurts my feelings", demurred, then changed her face like Erin, in The Exorcist, and said, "but, I'll be all-right." If you studied this womans face and the gutteral change in her voice you could feel her hatred for Obama, and frankly all of the voters who were forcing her to humiliate herself by answering questions. She was not supposed to have to answer questions which revealed what she is. This was supposed to be a done deal.

The entire Obama family had better watch their step with this woman.

Yes. They all are.

But only a couple of them are about Obama.

You mean Hillary is blaming her staff because she went shrill and bugeyed when Johnny pushed her buttons? Boy, that got a lot of replay today. Huma should head for the hills.

We have all got to stop underestimating the lengths this evil witch, her husband, and their ass-residing media whores will go to obtain the power she seeks.

I want to see this hag and her despicable teensy-pricked husband be humiliated and destroyed politically forever, but I will not believe the manufactured hype that she is done and over.

The Clintonistas will bring upwards of the wrath of HELL to get back into power. They literally will stop at nothing. We can’t for a minute be so naive as to think she’s gonna concede even though primary voters may reject her soundly.

I would so prefer fighting Obama for the presidency than the Clintons, because the Clintons bring nuclear weapons to the fight and they’ve proven they will gladly use them. They literally will kill to get that power back.

Everyone else brings their typical conventional idiot liberalist weapons to the fight, and I believe those weapons have run their course on a suspecting public.

The Clintons are evil. The other liberals are merely moonbat, idiot, morons with no common sense or ability to tackle real-world problems and crises.

I’ll take that anytime over the biblical evil I believe the Clintons possess.

-—— (what wasn’t said. Note: satire follows)

“And we know what happens to those who hurt my feelings!
I’ll be all-right, but they better start worrying if they will.”
