MANCHESTER, NH -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that Governor James H. Douglas (R-VT) has endorsed John McCain in the New Hampshire Primary.
"John McCain is a principled leader whose character, judgment and experience make him the best prepared to lead this country on day one," said Governor Douglas. "John McCain is a reformer who is willing to stand up for taxpayers and against the special interests. I am proud to support his candidacy."
John McCain thanked Gov. Douglas for his support, stating, "The people of Vermont are privileged to have Jim leading their state. I am honored to have his support, and I look forward to working with Jim as we continue my campaign for the presidency."
Governor Jim Douglas has been serving the people of Vermont for more than thirty years, first as State Representative, then Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and now Governor. He is currently serving his third term as Governor of the state of Vermont. The Governor and his wife Dorothy have two grown sons, Matthew and Andrew.
Is this a good thing?
WOW!! 1 liberal endorsing another!!!!!!!!!!!! Who’d think that’d happen.
Principled, character, judgment and experience: Amnesty bill, Gang of 14, Campaign Finance Reform, opposed tax cuts, kissed up to media by attacking Republicans, takes any disagreement as a personal attack and is an angry, bitter, old man. Yup, that candidate gets my vote. Actually, I'd vote for Ron Paul before I'd vote for McCain.
Well that settles it. I know I’ve been waiting to hear Gov. Douglas and what his leanings were.
Yeah right. Who cares what this baboso thinks about anything?
Wow! that’s it for me! I guess juan will win now!
