Human Events Top 10 Rinos

1. Sen. Lincoln Chafee (R.I.)
Once approached by Democratic Leader Harry Reid to switch parties, Chafee has long supported liberal policies. He backs legal abortion, gay rights, federal-funded health care, strict environmental protections and a higher minimum wage. Opposes ANWR drilling. Also was the only Republican in Congress not to endorse the President’s reelection and one of three who tried to gut Bush’s tax cuts.

.....snip.....

8. Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.)
Has said, “I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country.” Supports civil unions and stringent gun laws. After visiting Houston, he criticized the city’s aesthetics, saying, “This is what happens when you don’t have zoning.”

He is also a gun grabbing anti second amendment nany state crusader.

His universal health bill in his home state bills every non-health insurance holder $2500/year, except illegal alliens (naturally).

Always gotta go back to '94.

Speaking of flip-flops, whenever someone tells me they have just found Jesus, I tell them, "Go to Hell you flip-flopper!"

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.........

Well you know the rest. Romney is NOT a conservative, nor Huckabee, nor "Give 'em Amnesty" McCain and certainly not Guilliani, even Thompson is NOT a conservative but closer to one.

Hunter is the most conservative and the poor guy can't get arrested!

Americans have turned the corner on conservatism and now embrace socialism lite until they get it full bore, I fear.

Everybody seems to want something that they haven't worked for or spent their own money for -- step in Nanny State to "fix the problem" and take away more of our freedoms.

I certainly don't have any desire to live in a Socialist State.

He comes from and was very involved with his parents politicking, both of whom were liberal Republicans. He publicly rejected Reagan and Reaganism, and President Bush. He’s a Harvard Lawyer. He’s, mostly, lived in Massachusetts. He was elected in the most liberal state in the Union, once I might add.

Culturally he has shown no signs of overt conservatism. He was never in the Marine Corps, wouldn’t know a revolver from an automatic. Never until running for President, about two years ago, wrote one conservative article or book or gave a speech.

And now, supposedly, he’s a conservative.

He needs to earn a bit. Take one for the Gipper. He’s not even on Conservative probation. He’s just a pledge that wants to run the Frat house. Ah, I don’t think so.

I hadn’t known about the Boy Scout thing. I’d like to see a cite for that, but if it’s true he’s pretty much off the table for me.

Of course, when it comes to the Illinois primary I’m voting for Fred if he hasn’t tanked, so I guess it doesn’t matter to me what a RINO Romney is.

The fact that anybody claiming to be in the least bit conservative can vote for this out and out fraud amazes me.
Somebody should print this article on a bill board in Charleston and Columbia this weekend.

I wouldn’t expect John Kerry’s GOP equal to be a real conservative. As a matter of fact, I don’t think Mitt Romney is real and genuine about anything other than saying whatever he needs to get elected.

His father, George Romney, was CEO of American Motors, was governor of Michigan, and even ran for President, but interestingly was born in Mexico. His family (grandparents, I think) had gone to Mexico because of persecution of polygamists in the US. George was a Mexican.

George Romney lost his presidential bid when he returned from a trip to Vietnam during the war and claimed that he had been “brainwashed.”

Thereafter, he became anti-war.

See #16.

Explains how Romney supports illegal amnesty and hired illegals, doesn’t it?

Is Mitt Romney conservative?

To be or not to be, that is the question...Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous LIES I TELL ABOUT MY RECORD, Or to take UP VICIOUS ATTACK ADS against a sea of troubles FROM HUCK, FRED AND JOHN, And by opposing end them? To SEE MY CAMPAIGN die: to SEE IT sleep; No more; and by a sleep to say we end IT AFTER MICHIGAN. The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to MY OLD MAN'S BRAINWASHED LOINS, 'tis a consummation. Devoutly to be wish'd THAT MY COWARDICE DURING 'NAM WOULD To die, to sleep; To sleep: perchance to dream AS IN MLK'S DREAM THAT I LIED ABOUT: ay, there's the rub; For in that sleep of death what dreams may come PERHAPS THAT MY DAD DID INDEED MARCH WITH MLK. When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause: there's the respect That makes calamity of so long life THEN GO OFF TO A PLANET NEAR ELOHIM; For who would bear the whips and scorns of SUCH FLIP-FLOPPING LIES, My oppressor's RIGHT, the proud men ARE BETTER THAN I, The pangs of despised LIES I HAVE TOD, the law's delay IN PROCECUTING THEM, The insolence of office I LIBERALLY HELD IN M'CHUSETTS and the spurns THAT CONSERVATIVES NO GIVE MET. That patient merit of the unworthy (ME) takes, When he himself might his quietus make With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life OF FLIPS AND FLOPS, But that the dread of something after death, The undiscover'd country from whose bourn No traveller returns, puzzles the will And makes us rather bear those ills we have BROUGHT UPON OURSELVES! Than fly to others that we know not of: DUNCAN, FRED, MACAIN AND HUCK? Thus conscience OF ESCAPE TO PARIS does make cowards of ME; And thus the native hue of RUNNING FROM DUTY Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of ;OES, And enterprises of great pith and moment With this regard their currents turn awry FROM ME, And lose the name of action. - Soft you now! The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons Be all my sins remember'd.

There are stupid narrow-minded “conservatives”(the fake ones) and sensible intelligent conservatives(the true ones).
Seems that Fred T. belongs to the second category ie the category of tough free conservatives even if one can disagree on accessory issues...
Hope D.HUNTER and supporters belong to the same category...
But i didn’t understand clearly why some HUNTER’s supporters claim that Fred THOMSON is NOT a conservative.
I didn’t find their arguments! Probably they have no arguments....
Some liberal/demonrat trolls trying to divide conservatives?...
