Fred Thompson will be interviewed on the O'Reilly Factor
bad timing, college bowl game on.
wife-o-buckhead
oops! LOL
didn’t have time to search...oh well at least folks got to see and hear him
Not necessarily... could have large female viewer numbers tonight.
Fred did quite well, but he made 3 mistakes.
First, while he correctly identified national security as the number one issue facing America, and mentioned his work on the Senate Intelligence committee, he was vague about the work he did after. He should have said “Remember Bill, I have advised the State Department on these matters for the last several years.”
Second, he said of the Clintons “they’ve done a lot for a lot of people.” He meant they’ve done a lot of favors they will be calling in during the primaries, but that was not entirely clear. One could have interpreted that as saying that Hillary will get a lot of votes because she’s done a lot of good for people in America.
And finally, his last words were that perhaps it was “wishful thinking” that Hillary will prevail in the Democrat race. That made him look afraid of Obama, and thus weak in comparison.
I’ve done that too:)
In fact- there were already 2 threads!
My wife said the same thing. Loves football. At the commercial, I mentioned Fred on Fox. She goes uh uh. Noooo.
Which campaign is paying you?
I think he only made one mistake, but it was a huge one and I hope it doesn’t reflect on his strategy for SC. (I’m a Fred supporter).
NOT ONE WORD ABOUT THE BORDERS.
THIS is the issue he has to hammer home in SC. It’s the one issue he can pound on both Huckster and McPain. He needs to come out and say:
-”I’ll build the fence”
-”I’ll sanction employers who hire illegals”
-”I’ll withhold money from sanctuary cities”
-”I’ll deport EVERY illegal arrested for a crime”
-”I’ll pardon the two border guards”
Over and over and over again. This can carry him to a win in SC...it’s a weakness for both Huckster and McCain. He has to remind voters over and over that Huckster supported tuition breaks for kids of illegals along witht he McCain-Kennedy amnesty plan.
Over and over and over.
And over.
Hank
Since every illegal aliens is a criminal, I wish Thompson would say all should be deported.
“he was vague about the work he did after.”
—Maybe if he told him he’d have to kill him.....
“...but that was not entirely clear.”
—only if you’re from Michigan.....
“That made him look afraid of Obama, and thus weak in comparison.”
—Not if English is your native tongue......
is it?
As much as I detest illegal immigration...
any candidate that tells you they will round them all up and deport them is being disingenuous. Fred’s plan close the borders, stop the flow in and out, uphold the law, provide help in discerning illegals for employers and law enforcement, and getting rid of sanctuary cities will result in illegals having no where to work, no aid or entitlements, and no where to go but home.
Many people do that. Look at your own posts. No one would need to ask:
Which campaign is paying you?
Fred is not paying me, and all my posts are unique with one exception a couple of weeks ago that I posted to two threads.
Point out more than one that is an exact copy of another. If you can't, you owe me an apology.
The video of Fred on O’Reilly:

It sure is in the right direction and an improvement over the present.
I mean Fred’s position.
That was great!
No you did not hit a raw nerve with me. I need to protect the few remaining that I have. I was not implying that you cut and paste posts, merely that your theme is rather mono dimensional lately. I point out that that is true of many of us. Therefore, no apology is owed to you. If it makes you feel better, I will take responsibility for the misunderstanding. As for being paid by campaigns, I realize that there are not many pros here. That's a good thing.
