back in the '80's jobs was so arrogant to overprice his machines, it gave bill the foot in the door.
history ever since. ipod, iphone... no icomputer... except in hollyweird films. :)
Um.. the iMac.
Oh, and, by the way, Steve Jobs may be a leftist, but he’s not so much of a dweeb.
You like PCs?
Run Windows? Bill Gates is far more leftist than Steve AND he’s about to retire and use his billions for “philanthropy”... and supporting the Democratic Party.
Linux? Most of them are, again, bigger lefties than Steve. Google’s money mostly goes to the Dems.
How about that hardware? Yup, most of it is made in China no matter what you buy (though Apple does make an effort to support our actual allies, the Taiwanese, over the mainland Chinese), so your money goes to the Chinese. Which then goes to support the Democrats.
On top of that, when was the last time you used a Mac, and how old was it? Most Windows interfaces are bad drug-filtered interpretations of the Mac interface.
Uh, check your history. Steve Jobs wanted to price the original Mac at $1499. John Sculley, then CEO, over-ruled Jobs and priced it at $2495 to establish a 55% profit margin. It wasn't long after that that Jobs was ousted from Apple.
