The was a Pro-Hamas rally on Boston’s City Hall Plaza last year when the Katushkas were coming in heavy. A Jewish cameraman was filming and got beat up on camera. The cops told him it was his fault for being there.

The one city where they have a sufficient percentage of the population is Detroit... not exactly a haven of peace and understanding.
It isn't all peaches and cream. There are Muslim foot baths being installed in a new airport terminal here in Indianapolis. In some large cities in this country it is now acceptable and legal for a Muslim cab driver to discriminate against passengers based on religion, sex, ethnicity AND behavior, disabilities, animals, etc. (I have not heard the ACLU is suing the cabbies yet). There are extremists here in the US and, while no where near likeness to Europe, we have our own issues. Here the dangerous or borderline groups use our own system against us. They are a little wiser. Muslims cause an uproar on a plane, get themselves kicked off in order to make a media monster about Muslim prejudices AND SUCCEED. To keep the story alive, they SUE. A Muslim drives into a crowd of people for revenge about Iraq. He is protected by the constitution and is just in sane. No doubt the lion share of our American Muslims aren't trying to kill us. But I do not hear a very loud cry of support out there for America from Muslims. I haven't seen Muslim rallies proudly waiving the American Flag in Michigan. I don't see Louis Fara'con' out there decrying the evil SOBs that blow up women and children. There is a huge propaganda coup to be had if American Muslims were more vocal about their 'disdain' of terrorism.

Exactly. That’s not to say that there aren’t extremists here, but I have a feeling most who live here just wanted a better life away from the stranglehold of Islamic law in their home countries.
There’s roughly 500,000 muslims in NYC — a place with strict gun control laws.

Where was there living in peace again?
There maybe Islamist activists who are converts, but even they are not crazy, they know that there are CCW armed Americans and IF they value their lives leave those Americans enough alone.
That also includes the Arab Christians who know first hand directly or from family history what living under Muslim governing is like and value freedom bigtime.
That public declaration, however, is but a whisper.
