Ron Paul is a John Bircher and a chr*stian reconstructionist, end of story. In fact, the Birch Society is basically the Birch Society's official theology.

That said, I resent the idea that criticizing homosexuality is the same as bigotry against ethnic groups or that Martin Luther King and the more radical anti-apartheid forces should be immune from criticism. I will also never cease to marvel at "leftists" who spend so much time defending international finance capitalism and the United States government. What's next, liberals proposing loyalty oaths?

The really weird thing in all this is how small government libertarianism ever got to be the watchword of the political movement that, in other countries, is often statist and totalitarian (Fascism, Falangism, etc.).

Perhaps the greatest irony in all this is that chr*stians who advocate the imposition of their understanding of Mosaic Law are so often anti-Semites, and that so many liberal Jews see Mosaic Law as somehow "un-Jewish."

OK, I’m confused now. If the critical items aren’t really smears and are some sort of legitimate comments, then why does the campaign denounce them as being written by a ghost writer that Paul had no control over? If they are just taken out of context or are just PC police going nuts, shouldn’t they be proud of them and use them as an opportunity to educate people about PC issues?

With respect to Jordan, Norton, Shalala, Brown and Achtenberg - isn't he speaking truth to power?

I mean, c'mon, Donna Shalala is a short lesbian. I used to play tennis at the A.C. Neilsen facility at UW Madison when she was chancellor there and you had to see the crew she played doubles with. 100% runty bull dykes. How can this even be a controversial observation today?

I happen to think he is a nut case, but even nut cases are correct once in a while.
