When Ron Paul pulls 8 percent vs Thompson’s 1 percent, I want nothing to do with NH or NE.

The only reason that Thompson is doing so poorly in NH is because he announced his run on Leno rather than participating in the first NH debate. He also belittled the debate while on Leno to boot.

NH voters took this personally and are not voting for him.

It has nothing to do with the relative merits of Ron Paul and Fred Thompson.

I haven't followed this as closely as I should have. Who campaigned more effectively? Was Thompson even campaigning up there?
