Who can participate in Nevada’s Republican caucuses?
If you are currently registered as a Republican in Nevada you are already eligible to participate. If you are a new resident to Nevada or if you are planning to change your party affiliation to Republican you will need to register 30 days prior to the caucus in order to participate. Also, if you are seventeen years old and will be eighteen years old on or before November 4, 2008, you will be welcome to participate when you register as a Republican.
The Nevada Republican Party has simplified the process of finding where your caucus will meet. Use our online caucus locator found by clicking on the link in the top navigation menu, or the 'Find Your Caucus' button below. You can simply enter your home address to find out which precinct you are in, and where your caucus will meet. Once you find your caucus location, you can select the ‘Get Directions’ link to receive turn-by-turn directions from your home to the location. All caucuses begin at 9 am.
This is one more way that participating in the GOP Caucus is as easy as 1-2-3!

The most important thing that we are looking for right now is people willing to be temporary caucus chairs for their precinct at the Caucus on January 19th.
It is a very simple task and we teach you everything that you need to know.

Thank you for volunteering to be a temporary caucus chair at the January 19th presidential caucus.
The Nevada Republican Party will be holding two informational temporary caucus chair meetings in the coming days in order to go over any last minute questions anyone may have, to make sure everyone is familiar with the materials that will be used on caucus day, and to test our caucus reporting system.
Since we know that many of you have busy schedules we are giving you the option of attending one of the two meetings to go over this information.
Please choose ONE meeting to attend:
1) January 10th at 7PM in the “Sunset Room” at Sunset Station (1301 W Sunset Road, Henderson). Signs will be posted.
2) January 15th at 7PM in the “Main Ballroom” at the Suncoast Hotel (9090 Alta Drive, Las Vegas). Signs will be posted.
And remember, since we are going to be testing our caucus day reporting system we are asking that everyone who owns a cell phone to please bring it to the meeting. Don’t worry it is a toll-free number.
In order to help us more efficiently plan for these meetings we request that you let us know which meeting you will be attending.

I would certainly love to come to Vegas for either of these meetings.
However, there are bartenders, dealers and cocktail waitresses that are dependent on me to be present and in a generous mood.
Are there any training sessions up here in the frozen north?

Hubby and I will be attending the caucus in little ‘ole Dayton, NV. Never been to one before but it sounds interesting.
