Water Boarding if we torture our enemies then they will torture our soldiers. I hope that's true because right now, they cut off the heads of our soldiers. Waterboarding is more humane.

McCain is one of the most corrupt senators in American history - he belongs in jail with the rest of the Keating Five.
Why anyone would vote for him only justifies the corruption of DC and the failure of a great country.

Another reason Clinton pulled it out (did I say that?) is that Obama was counting on a college vote that was essentially on break. Nobody is in town to vote for him.
Clinton bussed in a bunch of “college students” from out of state to vote for her. How else could a town run out of ballots? You have X number of voters registered in town, and X + Y come it to vote? And nobody thinks this is out of sorts?
If NH wants the responsibility of the first primary in the nation, it should really ensure that real NH residents are voting. Otherwise the fix is in.

Seriously, what is wrong with Romney?
To: SwaggerStick
They are both the “establishment candidates” for their respective parties.

Because they got more votes.
Some things are too simple for exhaustive analysis.

Anyone who gives up the beauty of the White mountains in full fall color, for the sake of anything to do with politics of any kind, is a maimed and twisted thing.

A more accurate way of putting it would be, they were both the favorites 4 years ago the instant Kerry lost, and most people not being 24-365 political junkies, nothing that happened in the meantime changed anything, because few people paid any attention to a lick of it.

Although I have no more proof to offer than did Chris Plante tonight on his WMAL show, I must say that we both have one of those “feelings” that something just is not right about the New Hampshire votes vs. the multiple polls that indicated a double digit lead by Obambi over Her Thighness: anyone have any ideas out there how the Klintoonistas could have rigged, altered, or otherwise changed the votes?
To: JasonC
Readers of FR and other blogs are the political junkies and up on all the details of all these candidates. That’s why Fred would do well in a Free Republic primary but not in the general primaries (thus far). The average voter is not paying attention to anything other than TV commercials and what someone they know says about a candidate.

The Klinton’s rigged the vote both for her and McCain.
Senators never win the presidency.
The only way Hillary can win is to run against another Senator. McLame fits the bill because he is shorter and older than her.

Correct. Except for the part about the TV commercials - when one comes on they change the channel or hit the mute button, and go get a drink.
Modern ideological politics is insufferable. Most sane human beings are utterly unwilling to put up with it for fifteen seconds at a stretch.

Hildebeast won because NH became infested with Mass. Liberals fleeing that state to avoid the very messes their own "philosophy" created there in the first place.
New Hampshirites, hindsight being 20/20, should have used those varmint rifles to stop the influx of the mentally ill M"ass"achusetts refugees when they had the chance.

Nothing is wrong with Romney.
Bush Lost to McCain NH by 19% in 2000.
Then Bush Lost to McCain in Michigan by 7% in 2000.

Why McCain and Clinton WonGee, ya don't think it might have anything to do with the fact that NH sits in the middle of the uber-liberal northeast, do ya? Right next door to Taxachusetts?
