We’re leaving, we’re leaving, already! Voluntarily. Don’t whip us on the way out.

Golly, if you’re a principled libertarian (as opposed to am America-hating angry racist), we’d be much obliged if you’d stay and work with us to make American better!

Don’t leave the party. Work to make it more respectful of the constitution and more respectful of individual freedom. Paul has a lot of worthwhile things to say. He just made himself a fringe candidate by going against the bulk of the party on Iraq. He’s patriotic as are the bulk of American Republicans, but the expression of that patriotism is support for our troops in Iraq and support for the attempt to make a war we started a victory.

IMO, it is the Republican Party that is leaving us.

If the Republicans want to depart from the traditional conservative values that were prevalent in the early years, and steer it towards a more socialist, big government, globalist position, then let them go.

I must remain true to my own beliefs however, and attempt to defend freedom as best as I can, whether by myself or with the help of a few friends.

I left the Republican party more than a decade ago, and was spoken to with the exact same venom, vitriol, and hate used by the left.
(confirming there really is little difference)
