President Bush, summing up meetings with both sides in the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, said today that a peace accord will require "painful political concessions" by each. Resolving the status of Jerusalem will be hard, he said, and he called for the end of the "occupation" of Arab land by the Israeli military.
"Now is the time to make difficult choices," Bush said after a first-ever visit to the Palestinian territories, which followed separate meetings with Israeli leaders in Jerusalem the day before.
Bush is in the Mideast for eight days, trying to bolster his goal of achieving a long-elusive peace agreement by the end of his presidency in a year. Speaking at his hotel in Jerusalem, he said again that he thinks that is possible.

Lookee here smart-arse, I voted for Bush TWICE, and he has demonstrated that his ‘compassionate conservatism’ is nothing but a gimmick, he has failed to secure our borders, he is busy dismantling our nuclear arsenal, he is selling out Israel with his ill-advised plans to divide up Israeli land with his foolish talk about returning to 1967 borders, and you can prattle on about Bush Derangement Syndrome all you like, but Bush’s performance has proven that he is no friend of conservatives, he is no friend of Israel, and simple-minded sycophants like you do him no service.
Try paying attention to what’s going on instead of mindlessly genuflecting before the image of GWB every day, how about it?
Think for once!

"Whats next Mr. President, you going to suggest that America surrender all that occupied land we seized from Mexico?"
Shhhh, don't give him any ideas, he's practically done so already with the shamnesty, calling the Minutemen vigilantes, and letting Border Patrol agents that enforce the law be prosecuted for it.

He has a full year and ten days of damage (375 days total) that he can still incur.

I'm no longer surprised anymore when Bush does something stupid or embarrassing or just downright awful.
I hope the people of Israel realize that Bush does not speak for all Americans.

What a disappointment! Whiskey Tango Foxgtrot! Does anyone remember how Klinton tried this crap 8 years ago and all it led to was the Intifada? Maybe he wants to spend the rest of his life building cheap houses and win the Nobel Peace Prize.

People need to read a few history books written before 1970. If they did they'd know there were hundreds of years when Jews and Arabs lived side by side in peace.
And they will again.
As the U.S. neuters the terrorist threat world-wide, peace will follow.

I guess you have forgotten the thirty years of support for Arafat that the President ended?
I'm pretty sure Arafat ended that himself in November of 2004.
How about getting rid of Saddam for Israel?
How about continuing to support Saudi Arabia and other nations that are vocally and financially committed to Israel's downfall, including supplying weapons to those nations?

You (A.Hun) are so wrong.
