I know that when I first joined back in 1980, it was a struggle to overcome the stereotype of the sort of women who had previously enlisted, but those days, thankfully are long gone, at least in the Air branches. That’s where I try to steer any women asking me about a military career.
I truly believe that women can and do make solid contributions to ALL of the armed forces and deserve respect. That said, if there are women who are behaving in ways that make a negative impact on discipline and morale, they should be kicked out on their butts. Of course, that goes for the guys too. Takes two to tango.....

Others have mentioned something that is puzzling me as well. Why do the Marines have mixed living situations? Who the heck thought that was a good idea? Must have been a Clinton appointee.
