I guess all that needs to happen is to have a few Hunter supporters throw bottles and chase Sean Hannity around...then they’ll let Duncan in. /s

Ron Paul almost got excluded from the debate in NH. Although I’m not a Ron Paul supporter, I believe he had every right to be in that debate! He brings up a lot of serious issues. I’m surprised at how many “Ron Paul” signs I saw in NH - so he definitely has some supporters here. I’m glad Paul’s supporters got the chance to hear to hear him sparring with the other candidates. I didn’t get the chance to hear Hunter do that!

“And Keyes? And Cox? And...?”

I want to hear all of them and make up my own mind. I do not want someone else to tell me who are the “acceptable” candidates. These people have jumped through all of the necessary hoops to run for president. Soon enough, we will decide for ourselves.

The media should stick to reporting, rather than trying to influence opinions, IMHO.

This stinks, and it further proves that the GOP has transformed into a party very different than it was a few years ago. The notice states a candidate must have received at least 5% to be qualified , but Hunter has been so ignored by the MSN he can*t get off the ground! I don*t believe Paul was doing so well until recently when he got an infusion on money I think from Soros, and his percentage is up there.

I mean, come on. The guy does not have traction. Doesn’t matter how good he is, the people are not voting for him.

The people? Funny, no one ever asked me to vote for him.

I'd like to hear him speak. I guess they are only talking about certain people...Just not me.

Thank heavens Fox has the sense (unlike many here) to distinguish the difference between a relevant candidate and an irrelevant one.

Hunter is at 1% and lower. Seriously. Get real. It ain’t going to happen. Continuing to pretend like he has a shot at all???

If you can’t even get 5% this far into the campaign, it’s time for us to spend more time with those who can.

Ron Paul doesn’t “deserve” anything.

None of them “deserve” anything.

They are running for the office of President. The media needs to get off it’s ass and let them each speak. Regardless of who they are, including Hunter, Paul, Thompson or whomever. Even the Socialist or commie candidates should be heard - and are by someone. None of the “Deserve” jack.

WE the PEOPLE DESERVE to hear what they have to say.

Your blood is probably boiling because you can't read:

Candidates who received invitations to participate in the debate have announced formal campaigns for president; filed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election Commission and the South Carolina Republican Party to run for president; paid all candidate filing fees associated with their candidacy; met all U. S. constitutional requirements; and garnered at least 5% of the national electorate as determined by an average of the most recent national telephone polls of registered voters conducted by non-partisan public opinion polling organizations leading up to the registration deadline as determined by the South Carolina Republican Party and FOX News Channel; or, place in the top five in the New Hampshire Republican Presidential Primary on January 8, 2008.

Exactly, just the way they’re trying to promote McCain, of all people, as the shining star of the Republican party, when conservatives can’t stand him.

For me, this is not about pretending anything. It’s about making up my own mind and not letting someone else tell me who I should vote for.

Seems to me they're only asking people in a couple of small states, with relatively small populations. This doesn't seem right.

Seems the rest of the country are being told who their choice is by a few small states here.

Voting for any of the other clowns would be like choosing your own method of execution.

Ha. Sums it up in a nutshell.

Right on. I don't want any time wasted on candidates who don't have a chance. It's bad enough we have to hear from some of the others who are way down in the polls and should have pulled out already.

This is my message to the SCGOP:

"I'd like to know why SCGOP has excluded Duncan Hunter from the SCGOP debates when he garnered as much support in the New Hampshire primary as did the liberal, abortion advocate, Rudolph Guiliani?

Do you intend to exclude Guiliani as well?
"
