Yes, it’s time to unload on Huck.

Listening to Fred and Jeri on Sean’s radio show now on our local station. Great callers and great answers from Fred! Hope the endorsement coming tomorrow is the NRA! If not, it is some other great endorsement! GO FRED!
To: SoCar
There is nothing to go after. Fred knows McCain is a non factor in the long run.

Fred needs to go after mcAmnesty on the illegals and border issue. McAmnesty is very vulnerable on this issue more than any. Nothing will rile up the SC voters more than loads of illegals taking all the decent paying construction jobs at every level. Roofers, brick layers, drywallers etc. have been decimated by illegals accepting $10 an hour for what was once $25+. Add that to the housing slide and there are a lot of pissed off construction workers. It’s the border. And it’s the illegals!

McCain is actually poised to win SC...25% is going to be enough...
Here's a thought as well...Giuliani's numbers dropped greatly as Huckabee's increased in SC...have you considered that Huckabee's support may go to Giuliani? ...magritte

McCain could have 100% of every state in the union and he would still not get the nod.
The GOP is stupid, not suicidal.

McCain could have 100% of every state in the union and he would still not get the nod. The GOP is stupid, not suicidal. From your keyboard to the Big Guy's ear. But the GOP has exhibited suicidal tendencies before. Let's pray we don't have to find out.

IN the long run, true. But FDT needs to make a good showing in SC or the money probably dries up. John needs to be neutered.

He doesn’t even have to attack Huck. He should run an ad leveraging his support from John Pressler. I was so impressed when Pressler did that video for Fred. Fred has all kinds of top line support and he needs to let them help him. People can’t vote what they don’t know and sadly most don’t vote on just the issues.

If by “the big guy” you are talking the RNC higher ups, they already know.
If McCain was to lose it in the General election or worse if by some chance he won the White House, he lost it there, the GOP would be effectively finished as a party. Knowingly putting a person with such issues in the Presidency is irresponsible.
