My wife was a cheerleader throughout junior high and high school. There was one boy on their squad. His job was to pick the girls up and hold them in a “statue of liberty” pose with one arm. She says he only tried out so he could put his hand on the girls’ butts. Can’t say I blame him...I was a teenager once too!

Melissa Barner, who said she has sworn statements from other parents stating the coach admitted cutting Bobby because she didn't want a boy on her team.

The coach is probably a militant feminist.

Good for him!! Despite what some people might think, there’s nothing wrong or “feminine” about a strong man/boy cheerleading. And there is no reason squads should exclude boys. They’re excellent for aerobatic routines and they are excellent voices on the field.

"Logic has been eliminated with the help of our allies in the Democrat Party. The inoculations are starting to take effect."

Soon we will be able to reveal our REAL leader:

“School Refuses To Let Boy Join Cheerleading Squad”

Good. That’s just creepy.

When I was a young man I aways wanted to be “in” the senior cheer-leading team. One at a time. :^)

I saw a video of him on F&F this morning and he was a terrific tumbler. I would think any cheer-leading squad would have been proud to have him on the team. BTW, my twin girls were cheerleaders all through Middle School and High School and I can vouch for the fact that the coach has a lot of input on who makes the squad. Although they have judges during the tryouts that are supposed to be impartial, the coach has the last word.

I’ve heard stories about young males who attended colleges which had just converted from all-female to co-ed. The guys apparently had one heck of a great time! If I’d done that, I’d still be going to college, just one more degree to go with the other 42!

....he coach admitted cutting Bobby because she didn't want a boy on her team....

Then the coach is a fool and should never have been coaching cheerleading. Having a male on the team adds an extra base for the fliers and more muscle for flips.

Does it rise to the level of a lawsuit? I don't think so, but this mother certainly did
