I saw her see something in the window when she was with him. I thought it was the one time-traveler the terminator didn’t get as it later showed the person outside with the bar-coded arm.

At the time, I thought it was a Terminator unit who was about to jump through the window at her.

For the rest of the episode, I had this weird feeling of paranoia that a Terminator unit was about to grab her.

But I think she's making a strategic mistake in not forging alliances with people like nerd-boy CalTech cellphone-salesman.

And just wait until Summer Glau's "character" starts to explore her "feelings" [her "emotional subroutines" as it were].

Hubba. Hubba.

I was waiting for her to terminate the girl that was giving John the eye in school. That would be a good story line: Having Cameron develop a crush on John, what with her being his "protector" and all.

Oh, I can guarantee you that if the show "sticks" [i.e. doesn't get cancelled], then there will be a long-running subplot about Cameron's emotional subroutines.

Eventually, she & John will become lovers, and then the question will become whether or not she has a womb capable of bearing children [remember, she's a very advanced model].

But there were a few moments in the pilot [or maybe it was the episode right after that] when I was wondering if she might have been created to be a "comfort unit", and that she was about to embark upon the lesbian back-massage thang with Sarah Connor.

And of course they will do it in liniar time rather that just going back and wiping out John Conor's great grandmother. Duh!

1. Can't do it. The Machines don't know who John Connor's father was, and all they know about is mother is her name is Sarah Connor and she lived in LA.

Their initial plan was send a T-800 back and kill all Sarah Connors living in LA at the time John Connor would have been conceived in 1984. One place, one time.

2. When that fails they can't keep sending more T-800s back to that timepoint, because that will generate paradoxes and alter the future unpredictably, possibly to one when the Machine do not Rise. To work that they would have to live seven lives at once.

They have to wait (past time, not future time) until Sarah relocates herself (time and place)in history by being committed to a mental institution.

3. When T2 fails, They send a T-800 back to sit in a room, hack into the FBI system until the FBI finds Sarah for them

4. All this has to be done in linear past time.

5. I've thought way too much about this.

T:SCC ignores the events of Terminator 3; a good move, in my opinion, as Terminator 3 wasn’t nearly as good as the first two movies.
