I guess it means that by sleeping with Reese in the first movie, she creates the beginning of the end of herself by the birth of John Connor, and the Terminators that keep getting sent after her.

Having to look up how she “dies” on Wikipedia, it is from leukemia after nuclear war with the robots... Is that what they are getting at?

I guess this should be on your weekly sci-fi thread.

I liked it - a lot. Its fast-paced, exciting and you just cheer on our heroes knowing the machines will always come back. But one way or another - humanity will save itself. The TV show is as good as the movie on which its based. The female Terminator's name is a nod to the creator of the saga, and is an inside joke fans will appreciate.

However, I like the idea of doing it before Terminator 3 because I'd like to see what made John Conners turn into a wuss that could be beaten up by a girl with a paintball gun in between those two movies.

Not going to happen, John Conners is already a wuss in this right from the start (Mommy, you got to make them stop - waaaahhhhh!).

The show seemed good but I'm guessing it's going to suffer from too much Estrogen and become unbearable.

Completely agree. The “fighting woman star fetish” that Hollywood has embraced is tired, worn out, and boring. It’s completely invaded sci-fi and practically killed the genre.

It's sad but the way things are going, Live Free or Die Hard will be known as the last great Science Fiction Movie

‘Terminator’ crushes competition
Golden Globes special attracts few
By JOSEF ADALIANHasta la smash hit, baby: Fox’s Sunday debut of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” scored the best opening night demo ratings of any new show in three years, while NBC’s not-so-lustruous Golden Globes special barely registered with auds.
Boosted by strong marketing and a big NFL playoffs lead-in, the Warner Bros. TV-produced “Terminator” notched an eye-popping 7.6 rating/18 share among adults 18-49 and delivered around 18.3 million viewers with its one-hour bow Sunday at 8, according to prelim Nielsen national data. Socko perf demonstrated the value of scripted series at a time when network execs—trying to spin their ability to survive sans scribes-— have been tubthumping strong ratings for reality shows.

Sure. BTW, honey, where’s your sunglasses?

IMDB is one of the tabloids of the Internet.

I’d wait until I get a more official word.

With the fate of the world in the balance, they’re obsessed with getting this kid into highschool. Give me a break!

Gotta watch that around here. Someone will claim he’s a perfect example of the poor public school system and should be home schooled.

If you are spending $20,000 on fake ID you might as well make the kid 18 with a HS Diploma.

But hey was that Titus Pullo as a terminator??

Tonight’s episode was excellent. The central characters are developing nicely.

Writing was better in my opinion than last night. The actress playing Sarah was a great choice. Little tin girl is well cast as well (loved the business of her leaning on the hood of the car!) John is good casting too — actually looks a bit like the actor from T1 that played his father.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Hard to imagine a Cylon in the current BSG who causes boners to die.

Agreed...it was a good show, and has potential...

The story arc would seem to foreshadow that in the future, and after the war is won with the machines, that the “good” machines (ones reprogrammed to help humanity win) are integrated into society and thus create more human like machines, which is why Cameron doesnt have a model number...she’s a cyborg treated as an equal by humanity in the future.

John, how do you ever expect the lead the last survivors of the Skynet attack if you can’t get your degree from ITT Tech?

What did you do? Write the script for this production?

I’ve seen better production values at a high school rendition of Oklahoma.

Who are you? Some actor that got turned down for a part?

Actually, I think the writing of this series has merit, and am willing to give it a chance...sorry you dont...perhaps you should stay in your current career of reviewing High School productions, which would be on par with your rhetoric.
