Nope, but I’m going to wager that it’s faked.

Eeeerie if real. Maybe bin Laden saw this ad in ‘79.

Assuming it’s real.

An airline uses the tallest building in the world and a symbol of New York to try to sell tickets to fly to New York.

Nothing similar has ever been done before. You’ll never find a picture of the Eifel Tower in an ad for flights to Paris, or a picture of the Opera House for flights to Oz.

I seem to remember seeing this ad (along with other weird WTC-related stuff) shortly after 9/11. Weird, indeed. Thanks for posting it.

After 9/11 I discovered a similar picture in an Italian design magazine I had. I submitted it to a friend’s website. It was real. It was an ad for kitchen appliances prominently featuring refrigerators.

I was astounded when I saw it, which was why I sent it to a friend to get published on their web site so it wouldn’t be lost. It was actually a two page spread.

For the septics, you can note the fainter areas (two lines) where this magazine page was creased to fit in a business sized envelope as I mailed it from overseas.

Eerie.

Know what’s just as eerie? Go to Microsoft Word. Type Q 33 NY - has to be all caps (that was the number of the flight that hit the towers). Change the font size to something large. Change the font to wingdings.

That is just scary.
