Fred’s starting to hit his stride. I love it.
Fred Thompson got in “late” only to people who have been following this since 2005. To people who are just starting to pay attention, this is just in time.
I hope others consider putting their money where their mouth is...the line about this being a fight for the heart and soul of the Republican Party (just a useful vehicle for the conservative movement) is a serious call to arms, not some throw-away sound-bite.
We make a stand here, or we will loose control of a national party and the general too. Dem-lite, Repub-fake, Conservative-fake, and neophyte statist will loose because in the choice between a wannabe liberal and a true liberal, the real thing will win every time.
We make a stand here or we go out with a whimper.
Thompson is just the last conservative in the debates - he is just a vehicle to gain control of the party that elected Reagan and defeated the Soviet Empire.
We take control of the party, or there will be no national party that represents the conservative movement.
