Should read:
Hairy, stinky, bra burning, Jane Fonda lov’in, hippy female freaks for Hillary IMHO.
That cartoonist needs to add a few more wrinkles to the woman's face.
*PS: The Bush twins just turned 26:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenna_BushAnd Chelsea Clinton is about to turn 28!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelsea_ClintonWhich is to say: Not only are these Boomer offspring well out of undergraduate studies, but they are all more than old enough to have finished graduate studies!
I.e. demographically speaking, this cartoon is about a decade out of date.
You are a bit off. The first boomer just hit 62, leaving many in their 50s yet to reach 60. And for the record many boomer friends of mine have kids just entering college.
Not ths boomer babe —Go FRed!!
Hillary has got to lose —I’m even thinking of sending a few bucks to the Obama campaign. I think he’d be easier to beat....
:) :) :)
“Not ths boomer babe Go FRed!!”
Ditto for me. Go Fred Go!
Not this Boomer Woman!!!!
And the cartoon and Cinives are both technically right, although I think more Boomer women are Grandmothers than College Moms. We tended to marry a lot earlier in those days. I had all 3 of my kids by Age 30!
Not this boomer babe Go FRed!!
Double-Dog Dittos to that — Not this boomer-babe, either!!
GO FRED!!
While I always took umbrage at this designation, those birth dates have been used for decades to classify Baby Boomers.
There are literally thousands upon thousands of children of Boomers in their 40's and 50's who have children in college.
Interestingly unflattering depiction of Hillary by Horsey.
I had my first at 32, hence the “still in college” post :)
LOL!
Big discrepancy between us early boomers born right after world War II and those born in the 60s when we were “coming of age.” I got married at 22 and was the oldest of “my group” to get married. Combination of what our mother’s had done, and the pressure of most of the young men being in the military during VietNam. Lots of marriages before the guys left or immediately upon their return. My husband was 25 and a Vet and was the oldest of his friends to get married too! LOL On the other hand, none of my kids married before 30!
Why is the boomer mom in in the kitchen?
I don’t think Hillary will get very many votes from our fine lady Freepers, boomer or otherwise. There are a few “I am woman, hear me whine” females here, but not many. I guess they balance out the “I wanna be able to do whatever I want” males (there are a few of them here, too).
Hillary will win a majority of the national women’s vote, though. So we need to get a good candidate to oppose her.
Thanks Izzy! Wunna these days I’ll learn how to post a cartoon. :)
