This attack, oddly enough, parallels Freds insofar as it too works to Mavericks advantage. Even the most idgit-y of idgit voters knows McCains name, knows he has loads of Senate experience, and knows that hes accomplished a lot there. What they might not know, especially given his surge vogue of late, are the specifics of those accomplishments pushing amnesty, voting against the Bush tax cuts, CFR, etc etc etc. And since Freds unwilling to remind them, it may come down to a simple question of whos more likely between the two of them to get results, irrespective of what those results might be.

It speaks for itself that the Democratic teacher unions are all for liberal Huckabee.
The ONLY thing Huckaee is right on is abortion -— and Thompson has the same position there.
I think Huckabee is making a mistake! Fred is very good at quick turnaround videos : )
Fred Thompson Looks for a Bounce in South Carolina, on Heels of Debate ( which many feel he won)
I haven’t heard much from Michael Moore lately. Is he in Cuba?!
One thing I know is that Fred wont whine about "being attacked" on policy and neither will his supporters.
Huck needs to stick to the Metamucil jokes.
Yep. The country would operate so much more efficently if the Federal government stuck to what they are supposed to do. Huckabee is a big government Lib dressed in GOP clothing. I’m ashamed that anyone falls for his BS.
For tone and effect, any turn-around video should be pretty much identical to the one he did to Michael More.
Replete with cigar and a quip that “some of us don’t want nanny state telling us that we can’t smoke a good cigar.”
“stay the hell out of the states’ ways”
You are absolutely right about this almost forgotten point! Thanks for reminding me!
Fred made several telling points about Huckabee’s addiction to ameliorative government and his weak understanding of international affairs. This was Huckabee’s second attempt to respond. For the second time he said . . . nothing.
Get off the stage you big dope.
In the words of the Huckster himself: If you are catching flak, you must be over the target.
On the other hand, if you're getting bombs dropped on you, you must be the enemy.
It seems like he just turns to Ron Paul and says “do you want some Ron!”
Fred is taking on Huckabee so strongly because he is desperate. Ron Paul got 8 times the votes of Thompson in New Hampshire.
I havent heard much from Michael Moore lately. Is he in Cuba?!

He’s getting treated for the blistered bottom from the video spanking by Thompson. With any luck they found out that Moore has a dread disease and they put him in a Cuban village of the diseased to quarantine him from the general population.
And if you consider the strongest (competitive) conservative in the race your enemy you’re probably... on the wrong forum.
New Hampshire wouldn’t be amount to a county in Texas.
There were 234,000 voters in the entire Republican primary.
"Enemy" is probably a bit strong, but you think Huck is the strongest conservative in the race? That's just silly.
