Morons.

This won't work but it will have the effect of driving away future lenders.

The banks get sued for NOT lending to the Inner City, and now they get sued FOR lending to the Inner City and not getting paid back.

Liberals are evil.

First we had the tobacco lawsuits. Then guns. Now mortgages. It will not be long for other municipalities to smell the dollars. These lawsuits will provide cover for the rats to nationalize the mortgage industry. The industry will no longer loan to these communities so the rats will happily fulfill the void. I am sure that the rats will be happy to provide below market, subsidized loans to their loyal constituents.

And when un-qualified city of Cleveland losers wanted loans, banks were accused of "red-lining" and "discrimination" if they didn't loan to minorities....

This is PATHETIC, and for all us taxpayers to pay the mortgages of losers who couldn't afford a house no-way/no-how is just part of the socialist wealth-redistribution we've come to know.

The city of Cleveland is a cesspool of crime, welfare 3rd generations, and city Union thugs.....there is no 'redeeming social value' in the City whatsoever....it's a DUMP.

And just what is his standing? This is just another political whore trying to cash in on someone else’s bad judgment - most of the affected people were either speculators or people who should not have been able to purchase in the first place. Those wannabe homeowners are why God invented trailer parks.

There are signs of recession on the horizon. This is the kind of thing that will guarantee one. No one will lend money on houses if they assume the law will be changed ex post facto, or that they will be subject to litigation if their borrowers don't pay them back.

Bank of America may have just bought a 4 billion dollar desk full of paper clips.

If they succeed in this, the mortgage companies will "red-line" the entire city of Cleveland. I wonder what effect that will have on the real estate market there.
