McCain will win. Democrats have nothing to vote for in their Primary since the DNC stripped MI of delegates. Hillary only one on ticket there. Dems will rush to vote for McCain. After all in a McCain-Obahma/Hillary/Edwards general election, Democrats know that whom ever wins, their political agenda will be advanced.

Best thing that could happen for Dems would be a McCain Administration. That way their political agenda would be advanced and the GOP would get all the political blame for the disastrous consequences of their agenda.

The Democrats are all over the place on who to vote for in Michigan, though. Some are voting for McCain, some Democrats are telling their people to vote for Huckabee, and KOS is telling them to vote for Romney.

actually it would make more sense for them to go for somebody who has not won so they can keep the R race wide open.

I think you nailed it there. I’ve talked to several staunch Dems in my area and they have said they would rather vote for McCain or Giuliani than for Obama or Clinton. I went a step further and asked them if they’d vote for Thompson instead of Obama or Clinton, a couple of them admitted they’d seriously consider it. These are neighbors of mine and not stupid people, they’ve just been lifelong Dems - but, they’re beginning to see things more clearly.

I disagree. I think the Democrats will vote for Huckabee since he has the glass jaw in a general election.

It doesn’t make sense for them to vote for McCain and Romney - both will kill the Democratic nominee (albeit, for different reasons).

To be candid, Democrats really do care about the letter beside the name, regardless of political affiliation. A McCain presidency won’t see a lot of liberals gaining power over the nation. There will be a lot of bipartisan dealings to be sure and a lot of moderate appointments; but as for leftists and liberals? Hardly.

Probably, but some Dems will vote for Huck as a dirty trick and other Dems will vote for Huck as the candidate for End Times (big in Mich). Hard to poll.

I don’t understand why Democrats are allowed to vote in Republican Primaries. It used to be that only Republicans could vote in Republican Primaries. It should be illegal.
