I guess people got a look at the other candidates, saw how weak the field was, and went back to McCain.
I can’t blame them, I wanted to give the others a chance but they all had a unique set of flaws that I couldn’t handle. McCain is the best we got, which is not a bad thing. He’s a real american hero with real convictions, some of which have led to his being on the opposite side of his own party. That I can look past. I’ll most likely be voting for him in february.
Except for Thompson, as I said in another post...but I see him going nowhere fast.
Folks here can say what they want about McCain - and I have my problems with him too - but polls show he has the best shot at beating Clinton or Obama. Thompson, on the other hand, has the worst chance.

He will stab the American people in the back every chance that he gets.
On top of that, he is too old, and has had Magliant Melanoma twice. The odds of recurrence is about 100 to 1.
He is a real hero. But as to real convictions. Besides being convicted that he’s the best and that he’ll do anything to get elected and please the MSM I haven’t seen any convictions.
