roses: “I notice the two most DNC/MSM and liberal loving candidates, McCain and Hillary are leading in NYC. Very telling.”

Yes, it is. That, in itself, is a very good reason to dislike McPain. Let’s put it this way. I don’t dislike NYC. They have the right to live as they see fit, and if they want to create a socialist hellhole, that’s their business. What I don’t like is the way they support candidates who won’t let me live as I see fit. They pick people, like Hillary, who won’t be satisfied until the entire country is a socialist hellhole.

As for McPain, there’s nothing in his past the makes me believe he’d fight the socialists. He’d be more likely to join them.

Hillary and Obama are members of the UnAmerican Democrat Party, it matters not which one is the nominee.

They will face Huck or McCain.

And both have VOWED in their campaigns, to work with the Dims. And both routine bash the President and Conservatives, in the here and now, to this day.

The rest of our candidates have vowed the opposite.

And instead the base chooses imagined scenarios of THOSE candidates secretly and really wanting to usher in cults and baby killing, stealing our guns, globalists conspiracies, and no fire in the belly?

And I thought it was the Dims who were irrational and Utopian.

No so, says the evidence to date.

“There have been few greater enemies to Pro-Lifers, Gun Owners, Traditional families supporters, et al, than Rudy Giuliani”

Romney is a close second. The sooner they are both gone the better.

Yes, in 2004 he was flirting with Kerry, trying to get him elected, with McCain as his running mate.

McCain also fights with the President openly, with our enemies listening, about Rummy, Iraq, accusing us of torture, closing Gitmo so the world will love us, and on and on.

But he is best buds with Bill Cowen, Clinton’s DOD, and never says a bad thing about him, only Rumsfeld.

And McCain here in Michigan on radio, is vowed carbon taxes, and global warming nonsense.

Its sick.

Huck is not much different, he is push polling today here in Michigan, saying the other candidates want more babies killed, and they don’t “care about the American people”, touting Union endorsements.

I will trust RG over those two anyday.

TitansAFC: “But I will still work tirelessly to stop Rudy while I can.”

Sounds good to me. I don’t support Rudy and wouldn’t vote for him even if he’s the nominee.

RINOs are worse than Democrats. We all know what Democrats stand for and oppose them. RINOs, on the other hand, destroy us from within. It’s like the Episcopal Church. It was destroyed by heresy on the inside, not by outsiders. Why? Insiders have the ability to destroy an institution bit by bit, one compromise at a time.

At least Rudy has gone to EVERY conservative gathering and tried to win them over.

Win them over with what? That he really didn't run NYC into debt and appoint liberal judges? That many of those he appointed went to jail or are currently under indictment? That he really didn't run a sanctuary city? That he didn't use public funds to pay for his dalliances with his mistress? His record is what counts, not the platitudes and lies he spouts on the campaign trail.

No you don’t.

We need RUDY TO WIN NY! This is vital to a brokered convention. We need Rudy to grab 300-350 delegates.

This is horrible news.

I’ve said for MONTHS he’ll lose NY, and I believe primary too...even if he won the nomination, he’d lose NY to the Hill and Bill show in November.

I love Duncan, Man50D, but let’s face facts: his campaign is over.

It always amazes me how people make such an assumption relying on the socialist media driven polls that have been notoriously inaccurate and have clearly shown their biased reporting. People respond by laying easily aside those principles that supposedly endear them to a particular candidate by abandoning that candidate for the sole purpose of winning. No one wins when people do not stick to the courage of their convictions. You'll only end up with a candidate who you will regret in the long run giving your vote.

AND he is young and can make another go of it.

He's making a go of it now! Those who profess to favor him should put forth the same effort towards him.

"I truly hope McCain wins NY. LOL"

The thought of either of this pair as the nominee makes me ill, but, like you, I would LOVE to see McCain win NY just to rub Rudy's nose in it!

Rudy's incredibly rapid and steep fall in New York (and nationally) rivals that of Howard Dean....lol

And Rudy's didn't even have to scream!!

The fact remains that social conservatives/evangelicals/Christians find a 'pro-abortion, pro-sanctuary, pro-amnesty, anti-gun, gay rights crusader whose personal life is a 'train wreck' to be a disgusting candidate.

The more that Republicans know about Rudy--the less they support him. No surprise there--the debates have been really devastating for Rudy for that reason!

I almost agree with the Florida or bust statement, except that Rudy already has so much time and money invested in the big Super Tuesday states that it makes no sense what so ever for him to ever quit before that date. He will wait the extra week, with or without money, and ride the wave through at least Super Tuesday, and regroup after that.

Rudy has something that Fred does not. Although Florida is extremely important, it isn't the end to his campaign. Fred used Iowa as his first state, Rudy is using Florida.

I know.

But the much touted conservative/Evangelical/Christian base, who run the Republican primary litmus tests, as bragged about on this very thread have chosen their Saint.

And its Huck.

I wish Duncan, FT and RG every luck but its over, and the base got what it wanted, and it will be fun to watch from here on in, lol.

All the hoopla about the base being fanatical about illegal immigration was way overstated IMHO. This election is clearly proving that. There were a vocal minority among Republicans advocating some extremist positions on the subject and that's it.

Hopefully, we can put this matter to rest and get on with the most important issue facing our country today - the War on Terror. The sooner conservatives move on, the better our chances of reducing any damages to our recruitment of Hispanics.
