I live in Arizona and I DID NOT vote for John McCain last senatorial time around. He is the quintessential Republican version of Bill Clinton: it’s all about him. He stabbed President Bush in the back several times, stood with Ted Kennedy on that stupid immigration amnesty fiasco, and hated Rumsfeld and undermined him on the hill at every opportunity. Atleast Rudy follows the Reagan 11th commandment: do not speak ill of fellow republicans...McCain does NOT have the leadership or patience to lead this country.

Just wait till the McCain-5th-Column 527’s come after Rudy like they’re attacking Huckabee in South Carolina and Romney in Michigan.

Hunter has, what two delegates and barely registers in the polls. He has zero chance of being nominated.

Giuliani may have waited too late to pull it off, but he is still has a chance if he wins Florida. Personally, I doubt it. His strategy of waiting out the first several primaries didn't take into account the issue of momentum.

The NY Conservative Party is going to be endorsing FRED!!!

Ah man...I just hope that doesn’t turn out to be the ‘Bambino’s Curse’...

The poor NY Conservative Party has been so hapless over the past 20-30 years...running everything from a Multi-Millionaire against Cuomo to a Calender girl Lt Gov to a clueless college professor...All they needed to put in their ads was “ This ad has been approved by the Marx Brothers”...

Oh really??????? Is that so?

I guess that Giuliani's PUBLIC ENDORSEMENT of the far-left, liberal, Marxist Mario Cuomo for governor--over the Republican candidate (Pataki) doesn't count then (because the Republican wanted to cut taxes too much).

You are correct, RG has been campaigning for conservative Republicans since 98, (a prolifer in my state), while McCain has been flirting with the Dims.

Remember he considered running as Kerry’s VP?

He is a sick man.

No, Mario Cuomo, D, served as NYC mayor in the 80s, early 90s.

To: A Longer Name

No kidding. And expect him to name Lieberman as his veep. I like Jumpin’ Joe, but that would further be an “up yours” to the GOP.

Um.... not quite. Democrat Mario Cuomo, who Rudy Giuliani endorsed over the Republican George Pataki and actively campaigned for, was Governor of the state of New York, not mayor of New York City.

Yes, of course, it was a gov race, I stand corrected, (thats what I get for posting at 3am lol).

And that race was in 94 when we swept the Congress and governorships, great nite.

Unfortunately for McCain, his open flirting with Kerry, was not over a decade ago, but in 04, during a WAR, was unforgivable, IMO.

Rudy is simply unelectable.

His radical social liberal policies are beyond the pale.

His mistress and mob shenanigans make wise voters stop dead in their tracks.

His divorces....cruelly engineered by an apparently hateful man....have his own children despising him.

All of the above renders him totally unelectable. Anyone denying this simply does not support a conservative victory in the presidential election.
