You mean there's no empty pulpits anywhere; or does this mean the Baptists won't rehire him?

I think they have forgiven him for trying to push the SBC to the Left back in the late 1980's....

To forgive is the Christian thing to do.

To never let them forget what you forgave them for is human.

To never be taken in by them again is smart.
