Mr. Ralston said it is unclear whether there are ties between the lawsuit and the Clinton campaign but, he predicted, “Even if they’re Hillary supporters, the campaign’s going to say they had nothing to do with it.It is unclear when the court will hear the matter.

Even if there is no connection between the lawsuit and the Clinton campaign, most people will believe there IS a connection.

First the Clintonoids steal the NN primary from Obama by schlepping thousands of unqualified voters, now they try to disenfranchise a whole union and its members who DARE TO OPPOSE THE WITCH. Now, will someone please tell me which party "favors the little people?"

There is a world of distance between teachers and the teachers’ union. That teachers are such immature followers only gives the union hustlers entry to big time politics. Many teachers, dare I say most teachers, vote differently than their masters recommend. That those teachers keep allowing their union leaders to divert their recommendations and their monies to candidates they don’t like, is the clearest evidence that educators and education are in some very sorry states, indeed.

Most of them are probably illegal; but to put a voting area at a resort.

Who says some guests might go over there and vote too?

Slick Willie’s war room at its best.

But we wouldn’t want to have any requirements for picture IDs when voting for real, now would we?

They do. If you vote the way they want you to vote.

Been sayin’ exactly that here for a couple of years now. The GOP had a warning in 2000 but chose, even though they controlled both the White House and the Congress (for a time) to do nothing. ‘08 will be a blood bath.

I just spoke with Jon Ralson, the LV SUN reporter who broke this on his blog. He, of course, had no idea about Hillary’s campaign finance fraud and the upcoming trial of Paul v Clinton.

Sorry, but could someone clarify this for me?

I THINK the point is that they’ve created these “at large” precincts at workplaces? I assume it bypasses having to vote in the precinct where you reside. Is that right? I have no idea how they conclude it gives more weight to votes in the at large precincts.

It’s still delicious watching Dems pulling their polling place shenanigans on one another for a change.

Wow—first she’s going to tick off the black voters now she’s going for union members, particularly minority ones. Wonder who she’s going to disenfranchise next in her trifecta?

Sad, but true. A pox on all of our houses, because the GOP polit machine is just as complicit as the Dems. I fear for our Republic.

Our Founding Fathers knew *exactly* how human nature worked in relation to power and politics, which is why they created this grand 'experiment' called the U.S. of A. Constitution, limiting the powers of government in favor of granting powers to "the people". The FF's 'experiment' is going to be tested once again in 2008, and dear God I hope it still passes muster.

This is the Clintons at their slimiest. They were apparently involved in drating the rules for these caucus venues when they thought the witch would get the endorsement. It didn’t happen, so they are now trying to suppress the vote.

I feel ashamed for going there, but in a blog search, this looked interesting from that place where RATS inhabit the underground.

13. Got it confirmed person by an Obama supporter at my door
He happens to be a person involved in the State Party of the Howard Dean movement. He said that Hillary people were involved in voting this strategy in at the time and now are suing because they don’t want those casino workers to have a voice. He said the 5 people to get one delegate comes from the state law for rural county precincts which makes sense now that I hear it. You’d have to live in Nevada to get that.

What is weird about the state teacher’s union suing against a strategy they supported while they thought it would work for Hillary is this: teachers don’t work on Saturdays and the Janaury 19th caucus is a Saturday so they aren’t going to be “disenfranchised”. Who is being disenfranchised are the casino workers and gold mining workers and others who can’t show up that day due to work or other commitments.

This has so backfired on the state teacher’s union in Nevada and it’s ticking people off at the rich casino corporations who want Hillary in and their workers to not be able to vote.

I suspect if they “at large” precincts in the 9 casinos are allowed to caucus next week, their corporate employers are not going to let the workers go to their internal caucus sites for one hour off the clock. I see more lawsuits coming!

Nevada ...we can’t do anything right or clean.
