My mother is a devout Catholic and a long-time union-democrat.
I asked her how she can support rabid pro-abortion politicians as a Catholic. She replied, “what have republicans done to end abortion?”
She does have a point :(
They’ve used the bully pulpit, Reagan especially, to speak to to the hearts and minds of Americans.
They’ve defunded abortion advocation around the world through UNFPA.
They’ve upheld pro-life legislation that’s passed Congress.
They’ve appointed strict constitutionalist judges.
They’ve assisted other pro-life politicians to get elected and get ahead.
They’ve installed pro-life people in places of influence.
