McCain Hypocritical? Joe Thinks So
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 01/14/2008 5:47:51 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

After reputedly being the victim of rough politics in 2000 at the brass-knuckled hands of the Bush campaign, John McCain has pledged to eschew such tactics. But in the opening segment of today's Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough called McCain out for honoring that pledge in the breach, accusing him of "dirty campaigning."

McCain is no worse than the others when it comes to “dirty campaigning”. All the top guys a pack of liars when it comes to their records, so the ground is very fertile for body slamming opponents.

Sorry I totally disagree. Were it NOT for McCain and his brother Feingold the media would not have been given the power to make or break campaigns. I cannot think of one piece of legislation that Hillary Clinton rammed through Congress since 2000 and there is a long list of McCain Acts the sole purpose was to cut up and out conservatism. He is dirty through and through.

I do not like Joe much, but Fox and Friends is unbearable, other than the fox babes in mini-skirts and 4” heels.

Thank Fred too. His McCain Feingold handmaiden.

I am patiently waiting to see if he (Fred), reappears on that path, and I do take note that he NEVER has anything negative to say about McCain. It is as if McCain is not his opponent and does not exist. We shall see I am keeping watch.

McCain is using Huckabee to do allot of the dirty against the other candidates.

Huckabee is too much of a novice to realize he is being used — unless McCain has promised him the #2 spot. [But doesn’t Graham have that locked up?]

True.

John McCain does stand out as by far the worst GOP candidate. Today's The Washington Times mentioned his record on illegal aliens as including
1. Supporting mass amnesty.
2. Supporting in-state tuition for illegal aliens.
3. Voted to kill border fence.
4. Voted against permanently barring gang members and terrorists from the United States.
5. Voted in favor of Social Security benefit to illegal aliens who commit identity theft.

Nobody who loves this country and is concerned with WOT could possibly vote for McCain.

Keating 5...

Yes, his CFR makes Keating 5 now legal for him to reap the benefits without having to have them earmarked. Has there been anymore news about McCain hiring the Keating 5 lawyer, (special prosecutor), Bennett?

It takes a hypcrite to know one, and Scarborough is a hypocrite.

That said, he’s stating the obvious here about McCain, no need to applaud it.
